  • In this video, we head to Epcot for a passholder preview of Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in Epcot and dinner at Tutto Italia in the Italy pavilion. While it wasn't our favorite dining experience in Epcot, we are glad we got a chance to check it out. We also stop by the American Adventure pavilion to go to the attraction and enjoy the sights of the new area in the France pavilion. If you've been to Tutto Italia, we'd love to hear your dining experience!

Thanks again for another great video! You two are so enjoyable to watch and always brighten my day. I was curious if you would you recommend Via Napoli over Tutto Italia for Italian food in Epcot.

Aw thank you! We're so glad that you enjoy watching them and that they brighten your day! I (Sarah) would definitely recommend Tutto Italia over Via Napoli for Italian food options, because Via Napoli has discouraged guests with celiac disease from eating there due to the flour in the air with the pizza they make. I know our friend Alexis from Alexis' Gluten Free Adventures has eaten there several times successfully, but I have avoided it due to the warnings shared by the restaurant. Hope that helps a bit (and great question!).

I'm so happy you went here! I tried to go a few years ago and asked if they had an allergy menu and who I spoke to at the host stand was not nice about it. He (rudely) told me they didn't have an allergy menu and when I asked if anything could be accommodated to be gluten free on the menu, he (rudely again) told me that absolutely nothing could be accommodated. I assumed that was because it's a non-disney owned restaurant but I'm glad to see that guy was, maybe, just having a bad day.

I'm glad we could share our experience with you. And, omigosh, I'm so sorry to hear that you had such an awful experience trying to eat there. 😢I (Sarah) have eaten at Tutto Italia a few times over the past decade or so, and they do have a small gluten free menu (and the manager can talk through options with you) -- although they didn't have it on this visit (probably because the menu is very limited right now).

Sarah - that bread looked fabulous. Did you find out what brand it was?
We will definitely try this restaurant. Thanks for the video!

It was really good! Brandon even tried a bit and liked it. I checked an old review/blog post I have on our website, and it looks like the same bread from then too. I think it's possible it could have been Schar brand but didn't confirm. It was definitely not the GF bread options used by Disney owned restaurants. Glad the video helped and hope you enjoyed Tutto Italia if you dine there!

The creperie using shared equipment won't bother me but that is definitely good to know. I had heard the savory crepes were made with buckwheat and I was rather excited. I LOOOVE crepes and I've been doing low carb for weeks now, so I'd splurge the carbs for the crepes and the eggs and ham would help.
I had my preview mid-month and yes, EPCOT has been packed!!! Lol! I did hear on Oct 1, it was lighter because everyone and their brothers were at Magic Kingdom.
Brandon's face with the artichoke cracked me up. The salami and cappicola and prosciutto looked amazing...and with the white wine flight? So yum.

Yes, I definitely wanted to share the info for those who might be concerned with cross-contamination and shared equipment. You'll have to let us know what you think of the galettes made with Buckwheat. Glad we're not the only ones who have noticed the crowds at Epcot. We didn't go to the parks on October 1st, but we also had friends who went to Epcot and said it was not bad at all and that they were able to get the merchandise they wanted too, which was a nice bonus. And haha, I had to leave Brandon's face in with the artichoke hearts. Poor guy said no thank you to the artichoke texture! The antipasti plate was definitely very nice (though overpriced in our opinion), and the white wine flight was great too! You can't go wrong with either of those options, right?!

@@glutenfreedairyfreedisney I had a friend at Epcot on Oct 1 and she said it was really nice. I guess all the crowds were at Magic Kingdom! I will definitely share my thoughts on the galettes. I'm hoping to hit F&W with my mom after she gets back in town later this month. We probably will head out there on a weekday in early November. She really wants to do Remy's Hide and Squeak. Lol!

I’m so happy to see this video! My parents are trying to eat gluten free on our trip, but my dad LOVES Italian food and wanted to go to one of the Italy pavilion restaurants but I was unsure of how good they were without gluten 😂
Thanks so much for another great video!!

Thank you for this review, crossing this restaurant off my potential list for my upcoming visit. If you are gluten and dairy free is it still possible to enjoy the booths at Epcot? I am wondering if I need to plan two meals on my Epcot day or one meal at the booths and one planned.

Glad we could share our experience! For GFDF at the festival booths, it's really hit or miss depending on what the menus are for the festivals. Sometimes we find it super easy and lots of options but other festival years it's a bit more limited. The 2022 Food & Wine Festival menus aren't out yet, but I would definitely take a look before you go! We have been enjoying the new Creations Eatery in Epcot, so that would be a great backup if you don't find enough GFDF meals at the festival that doesn't require a reservation! Hope that helps! 😊

Looks like they have gotten better with gluten issues, I have not been there in 2 years and it’s been a challenge. My family loves this place so I tolerate it for them.

Hi... Diary Allergy here 🖐... so you mentioned this place would not be the best for a diary allergy because it is not Disney owned for they don't have the substitutes that Disney owned restaurants do. I thought all restaurants in the Disney parks would be Disney owned.... So how do I know which restaurants are Disney owned and which ones are not? THANKS for much for your reviews.

    • @glutenfreedairyfreedisney
      @glutenfreedairyfreedisney  Год назад +1

That's a good question about Disney owned restaurants. Most of the restaurants in Disney's World Showcase are operated by 3rd party vendors (same with Disney Springs). Here's a list of which ones are not owned & operated by Disney: www.glutenfreedairyfreewdw.com/resources/2020-gluten-free-dairy-free-guide-to-wdw (guide is a bit old but the info about 3rd party restaurants is still accurate). Hope this helps!
