Be careful on a 387 you will disconnect your access port from the network if you change the native vlan setting from vlan 1 to something else in trunk mode. I had to get on a ladder and reset the AP to default factory setting after following your advice at the 5:00min marker.
Is there a way to keep these on the same vlan as the normal AP's and keep them from joining the original AP cluster? (Like blocking them within the original cluster?) How reliable would you say these would be opposed to using a dedicated PTP AP setup?
If remote AP used to connect site without DHCP how remote AP would obtain IP address ? And also, should ports on a switches where AP uplinks connected be configured as a trunk ?
Create the cluster first for both IAPs. (must be on the same L2 subnet), create an SSID that they will use between sites, then go to system, find "extended -ssid" and disable it. reboot the point. it takes a few minutes to mesh. #show ap mesh neighbours to see if you can see the other side. and #show ap mesh link to verify you are connected up.
This guide actually works ! Many other guides omit the part at 4 min about the wired ports defaulted as down !

Hi, May I ask how can you connect both access point in one from the beginner that you show up on the
