I admit it, I am an altiholic, I love levelling multiple characters, exploring, doing achievements, and I find that I enjoy the game, making friends is nice too, keep on keeping on dude.
You forget one guy the helpfull dude who will help you in the zones with quests or world pvp. The guy who will pull some mob off of you, or heal you when he sees you are pulling in too much, or the guy, who invites you into his party just to ress you, cuz you are dead. This guy is an awsome dude, who mostly plays tauren or dwarf.
Uhh, hardstuck 3 months MC can't even use your rotation properly. How hard is it to go out and gather herbs for 1.5 hours, maybe it will discipline you. I mean the game's piss-easy and you're still having problems, I don't even believe its your inabilitiy, I thinik you're just griefing at this point.
Even in Classic, I am the Altoholic. My first character was born in spring of 2009, so she cruised past max level and into Northrend. I remember the moment she hit L80. The sad moment. The disappointment. I'd explored, read quests, learned lore, achieved, visited, made friends, maxed professions. The journey! It's all about the journey! I'm happiest leveling.
I like the way tauren females look, and that they are big without having a gnarly hunch back... not to mention the joy of a wicked warstomp. it's their voices that bug me. every time they get crit "UHHH!"

I had hoped you might mention the type known as, "The Guide" He's a guy who played classic, or has done a TONE of research to know how to do it at his best. In dungeons and raids, he will tell the mechanic's of bosses, locations of rare mobs in zones, and when he's in any group he'll try take command. Despite being a bit bossy no one has any real problems with this guy because he has this impression that he just wants to help players.
I went out and bought a gaming PC just to play WoW classic. I haven't played in years but it was definitely worth coming back. If you haven't played in years because of all the changes I highly recommend coming back. Nothing but good times so far
Yeah for me it would definitely be the first dude I began playing about mid way through cataclysm so I'm used to world quests, getting spells instantly and soloing mostly everything up until the more modern expansions... Oh was I absolutely clueless when I played classic after about a year now I look back and hate myself for how much of a noob I was but I know better know still play classic I love it and im literally counting down the days until shadowlands and praying that when they nerf the level cap I won't lose all the spells over worked so hard for from 50 and up.
Also imma huge altaholic I have a character for every race and for every possible class they can be for allied races in BFA pandaren and horde and alliance core races I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM

The "He doesn't do it because it doesnt make money" also just doesn't really hold up, when you consider that he managed to get almost 400k subs doing such vids, and he has some of the most-viewed WoW machinimas on YT.

There is 1 player you forgot about. The family man/woman. Someone who used to play the game but at some point quit and started a family. But returned for Classic. Generally very friendly people that are an joy to play with.
10:22 This is very true, at least for me, the funniest thing about wow is the leveling experience, exploring the world, reading the missions and getting into the character, completing even low-level missions just to understand the history of that area, find secret missions, find and explore secret areas, find other players of the opposite faction, fight with them, hide from them, evade them or try to communicate with them, or even help them, help other players of your same faction, etc!
never played Vanilla and I went into classic scared because of all the stories I have heard....and you know what...I enjoyed it, I remember my first Ragnaros kill, my first Onyxia kill, the 13 hour war It all has a special place in my heart.
I'm going to give it a shot. I come from The Elder Scrolls series of RPG games and eventually ESO. What draws me to Classic isn't the MMO elements but it's stability. ESO is constantly changing due to the ever necessary search for balance and the idea I can play a game no obsessed with balance and is established and stable has appeal to me right now. Plying solo is where I came from originally and I can't disappoint others when I screw up so that my comfort zone. That said I'll be more than happy to talk to others and help when I can. Still first I'm going to have to learn as I'm a complete newb. Likely I'll be a filthy casual as that's my nature. Still I enjoy your content and admit you've been an inspiration.
Definitely the guy that played Vanilla and feels the need to mention anytime something makes me feel nostalgic. I also have a Tauren female named Pocahontas, but that’s a major win in my book.

I think I'm a mix of 1, 3, and 6. I'm not ENTIRELY new to Classic, but I'm very unknowledgeable about it since I only played it a little bit waaaay back in the day, when I was in middle school (gnome mage). Trying to research and learn more is helping, though. I think tauren female was the more interesting race to me since I wanted to play a Druid (or Hunter), but occasionally watched my dad play as a night elf through the years. Kind of a opposite to him in a way I suppose, since he was Alliance! Also, I do keep to myself pretty much all the time when questing on the overworld, but I have a tendency to run to people in need if I see them on the road, buffing randoms I see as I pass by, and pair up for dungeons when needed. Otherwise, having a blast so far, and only lv 14 after starting a few days ago. It's a nice parallel for me, playing what feels like a 'slower' game than FFXIV's rapidfire paced endgame on my guild's community nights.
I was once browsing a random forum one day and found a pretty risque drawing of a Tauren female dressed up as a firefighter and her outfit left nothing to the imagination. Suffice it to say it, uh, awakened something in me.
I support my Altoholism 100% with my main. (Also, why level one profession and rely on others not jacking up prices on things you need, when you can simply level all the professions at once!)
You forgot the 30-something trying to relive his glory days simultaneously trying to keep aggro on the boss while reducing the real life aggro from his wife, eventually going AFK half-way through a boss fight to soothe a crying baby.
Few years after, these were my experiences on the intial release - got into a guild, did a World pvp event (the one you hosted Nixxiom actually, where the horde invaded westfall at around lvl 20), I got to 60, defeated ragnaros a handful of times, my guild disbanded, i quit. That was enough Classic wow for me, i got to exprience it, i liked it, and then it ended. And im cool with that.
i never played classic and mentioned it in every dungeon group that i got, just in case there would be something to watch out for and... to be honest, everyone was adopting me like a little puppy, they were so nice and helpful uwu
I enjoy your videos, however I feel you were a little off about us loners out here. We are just dealing social anxiety and other issues. Some of never felt welcomed anywhere, even in our families, and that puts us off on the wrong foot usually for the rest of our lives. We don't what to say to others, because we don't think we are clever or smart, because that's what we were told over and over and over again. And that is unpleasant. On the other hand of all of this isolation that we feel has sometimes lead to us to appreciate the quietness of solitude. It's the time for some of us to rest and reflect. Some of the peaceful moments in my life have been because I make time to spend time alone. At times I have felt less alone by myself than with others. So we don't always look at as a bad thing, unless we want to make friends and then it's a battle. We are not freaks. Just hurt/anxious/depressed.
I couldnt find myself... Im the "loves helping people to an extreme amount and misses his own goals because he helps level 17 players complete their deadmine quests and dances with random dudes in the capital" guy. To put it short, I would call this kinda player (like myself) : Somebody who is finally home!

When I started playing wow I was an altoholic, I always got bored and started a new character because the game was all new for me. I remember starting on a cata private server on a realm with 15x xp but when I started a new char my goal was that now I will reach 55, after a year or so I reached 55 started a dk, I knew nothing about the lore (well only from heartstone) and stuck at the runeblade quest because I couldn't speak english and didn't think that youtube could help me xD. Good old days

Oh man I took a six month break from all WOW content (was slightly becoming a 10/addicted :P ), so I haven't seen your video's for awhile. But I have definitely missed your content, you are awesome!! I was never a veteran but I knew things about classic going in, a lot of them. One thing I forgot though, was that rogues need to buy flash powder to vanish all the time. I was a little annoyed the first time when I was in org and forgot they only had poison vendors in the big cities, and hearthed to barrens in a hurry

(Also, why level one profession and rely on others not jacking up prices on things you need, when you can simply level all the professions at once!)
You forgot the 30-something trying to relive his glory days simultaneously trying to keep aggro on the boss while reducing the real life aggro from his wife, eventually going AFK half-way through a boss fight to soothe a crying baby.

Few years after, these were my experiences on the intial release - got into a guild, did a World pvp event (the one you hosted Nixxiom actually, where the horde invaded westfall at around lvl 20), I got to 60, defeated ragnaros a handful of times, my guild disbanded, i quit. That was enough Classic wow for me, i got to exprience it, i liked it, and then it ended. And im cool with that.

Nixxiom Gotta say, never seen a mean female tauren player. People who make one of those gotta leave any ego at the door.
i never played classic and mentioned it in every dungeon group that i got, just in case there would be something to watch out for and... to be honest, everyone was adopting me like a little puppy, they were so nice and helpful uwu
I enjoy your videos, however I feel you were a little off about us loners out here. We are just dealing social anxiety and other issues. Some of never felt welcomed anywhere, even in our families, and that puts us off on the wrong foot usually for the rest of our lives. We don't what to say to others, because we don't think we are clever or smart, because that's what we were told over and over and over again. And that is unpleasant.
On the other hand of all of this isolation that we feel has sometimes lead to us to appreciate the quietness of solitude. It's the time for some of us to rest and reflect. Some of the peaceful moments in my life have been because I make time to spend time alone. At times I have felt less alone by myself than with others. So we don't always look at as a bad thing, unless we want to make friends and then it's a battle.
We are not freaks. Just hurt/anxious/depressed.

Im the "loves helping people to an extreme amount and misses his own goals because he helps level 17 players complete their deadmine quests and dances with random dudes in the capital" guy. To put it short, I would call this kinda player (like myself) : Somebody who is finally home!
LobosJr plays as female tauren and I wouldn't call him wierd. He's actually my most favorite twitch streamer. With all other types I fully agree though.
I am number 1. Thankfully alot of people helped me and were really nice (a lvl 60 even gave me 50g). Love the community aspect of Classic.

When I started playing wow I was an altoholic, I always got bored and started a new character because the game was all new for me. I remember starting on a cata private server on a realm with 15x xp but when I started a new char my goal was that now I will reach 55, after a year or so I reached 55 started a dk, I knew nothing about the lore (well only from heartstone) and stuck at the runeblade quest because I couldn't speak english and didn't think that youtube could help me xD. Good old days
Oh yes. I missed these type of videos.
My favorite is "person who doesn't speak the language of this server, but still joins up for group quests and is pretty cool to play with even though you can't talk to them".

Oh man I took a six month break from all WOW content (was slightly becoming a 10/addicted :P ), so I haven't seen your video's for awhile. But I have definitely missed your content, you are awesome!! Also slightly feeling a little embarrassed as I am totally a 4 too (just rolled a troll hunter and feels good)....and a 6 :P However I will talk to people if they chat to me, and I will join groups if need be. I just don't seek them or people out and prefer to be a lone wolf!

Regarding point #3: the only worthwhile metric for rating your toon is how well they perform the /train emote. Lady tauren rock the /train noises.
You definitely missed a few but still quite enjoyable.
I was never a veteran but I knew things about classic going in, a lot of them. One thing I forgot though, was that rogues need to buy flash powder to vanish all the time. I was a little annoyed the first time when I was in org and forgot they only had poison vendors in the big cities, and hearthed to barrens in a hurry

When I re-upped my membership a week ago, logged into my Blizzard account after 5 years of not playing to see that I had 12 characters that hadn't made it past level 8, I realized I really was an altaholic.
Playing 12 "alts" mid WoD to only level 8 is not called altoholic, it's just ADHD.

The guy who works Over Nights that's used to doing everything solo, was looking forward to doing Classic but got annoyed and quit because there was no one on at 3AM to help when when they were being raped in the Barrens by Quilboars outside of Crossroads for an hour straight on a level appropriate quest.

You forgot to mention the "crack" of an altaholic's play-time. Creating a 5-man band of Alts on the same server who cover every single profession so that whenever one of your alts has an excess of mats, you can just mail them to the correct alt and always have whatever any of your alts ever needs. (Did I mention the hours I spent crafting the precise look and name of every alt?)
