Couple months ago the Charleston West Virginia transmitter, and every other station operated by RLX, was experiencing some horrible technical issues. Snowstorm had come through, cut out a lot of Telecom in the town, including the wireless links from the office to the transmitter sites.
history now repeats itself 3 years later to 2024, to where that same kind of stuff still happens from WNG538 (from experience) like the most i've seen (or heard) happen to them are either glitching out, being silent or just going off the air, or even all three

WNG538: “Nope”
sounds like a steam engine is rolling through WNG538
That was the reception/radio, not the station. It cutting out and going off air were the actual problems.
@@Montecat33it’s a joke
how WNG538 lives:
(from experience based on me listening to it)
Based name change
It doesn’t surprise me. Back in 2021 WNG538 had problems of it going off the air, and other little problems here and there.
