Im hyped for this review series for two reasons, the first 3 movies are solid so it'll be fun to go through those, the rest are rough so it'll be just as fun to hear their thoughts haha.
I enjoyed them getting sidetracked so often, I was always interested to see what random connection or reference was going to pop up next.
This was one of the best In Reviews you guys have done in a while. Laughed constantly throughout.

The most unintentionally funny moment is when Jigsaw became an Assassin's Creed character with the full robe and hidden blade

I watched this in college, it became traditional to go see the newest Saw for a few years after. I went to my Livejournal to see what I said about it, and I quote "it was mediocre until everyone started screaming". I also played free DDR at the arcade that day and noted that as well so...good times.
I dunno if this helps yall with analytics or user feedback, but this is the first in-review series that im fully back for! skipped about a year of thembc the content didnt speak to me. Great episode yall!

Pirates is a must and probably inevitable, shrek would be lovely since my 2 year old loves Shrek 1 & 2 so much so I’ve watched Shrek 1 and 2 over 20 fucking times.. and I’m not even mad lmao

Edit: Don't let them dissuade you Nick. Your TV show taste is great. Those USA network shows (Psych, Suits, Monk) are fantastic. Billions was great and it's not now. But it's the last season, so you might as well finish it.

Was he not testing the sedation on the guy in the drill chair? That was what Danny Glover walked in on. You can see the model of the bathroom and he tells the guy he is part of something bigger.
That’s how I saw it as well when he mentioned how it already wore off.
This movie, man. Almost 20 years later, and so much of the editing (and acting) doesn't hold up, but the core of it is so damn good that it hardly matters. A few moments of genuine tension (The Reverse Bear Trap, Adam's Pig Abduction) are so effective, I feel even the most jaded horror fans might be encouraged to travel to the edge of their seats and buy in.
The series starts strong and seldom finds as stable footing afterwards, but there's always the hope that a trap might be as petrifyingly portrayed, or a twist as unexpectedly stunning, as the high hogwatermarks throughout is clearly enough to keep horror hounds coming back for a LONG time.
Best Trap: The Reverse Bear Trap (INSTANTLY ICONIC!)

I actually liked Leigh Whannell in this. I didn’t know he actually wrote it which makes him even cooler. I wish Tapp didn’t die in this, would’ve been interesting to see him continue to chase Jigsaw and just accumulating more bodily damage over time. 😅

While i dont like these or other horror movies, I especially love these series because I can experience them and their shenanigans without the scary stuff lol
Lost was a great show and is probably one of the biggest reasons that high budget science fiction/fantasy shows came into prominence. Also we know exactly what the Black Smoke monster was. I hate when people say there are no answers when most of the questions were answered.
I know this is a weird comment on a Saw in review but you’ll see why it makes since around the 1 hour mark. And the Original Saw still a classic, bad acting, but a classic nonetheless.

When I was in high school we made of this movie. For being so dumb. Which years later when I I had movie night with the gang. We’d bring it up in passing making jokes when we’d need to lighten up the mood of a bad movie.
Seeing Alfredo was fun but he was completely wasted. He barely said anything and I think it has to do with the fact that there are four other people in the same room who can easily talk to each other. As the 5th one remotely calling in I can see it being hard to jump into a group conversation like that. Maybe have less people next time so Fredo can feel like he has more chances to chime in.

Gotta say, that was not a great intro. Cam must've done that in his sleep, cuz they're usually bangers & this one was just two images, really. Minor gripe, love you always KF.
Matches what this movie is tho. This movie is so bare bones, but the Nick payoff is hilarious.
I only like this first movie, I hate how gross, gory and graphic it the series gets. Sorry guys I’m out for this series 😂
