I love this interview, it’s just endless tangents and the wonderful chaos that is Tennant and Tate’s friendship 😂 Favorite bit is David going into an increasingly furious rant about astrology for about a minute straight, only for Catherine to quietly counter with a “…so David’s an Aries.”

I seriously could listen to these two forever! The chemistry is on fire! I have to admit however, I was VERY dubious about her going into Doctor Who but boy was I wrong! I'm delighted to say Donna Noble is without question my favourite companion of the modern era! Their time together in the Tardis marks the high point in my opinion.
I was totally the same! When the Runaway Bride came on, I thought uh uhhhhh.....noooooo. Then came along Martha. When Donna reappeared in that first episode I totally fell in love with her. My heart broke at the end of her story. And after getting to meet her several tmes at comic cons, I can confirm she is the most wonderful, warm, and caring person I have ever met. The first time I met her was at a ( I think her first or second con ever) and mentioned she should come to a comic con closer to where I live and she exclaimed "oh I'm going there". Six months later she shows up at my closer comic con and my bff and myself walked in to get a photo op with her and she shouted "oh, it's YOU" as she hugged me and the photographer got annoyed and hurried us up. Probably one of the best moments of my life...Catherine Tate remembered me.
This was delightful! It is so delicious to listen to two marvelously talented actors who really click with each other. Really looking forward to the 60th anniversary special of Doctor Who that will reunite them again. Thank you so much for uploading this.

They recorded this when they both knew that she was coming back, but it hadn't been released to the public. If you haven't read The Writer's Tale, I highly recommend it, it has so many behind the scenes details like that, all about the making of series 4.

@@emmyyang4339 I was just being funny. There are old funny videos of Catherine Tate saying to David Tennant and others that she thought his name was Doctor Who, and David correcting her. And that she thought the Daleks were robots, not realizing there were people inside. She admits she did not watch Doctor Who. It is all good natured, as was my comment. I truly enjoy DW but keep it in perspective. Thanks and cheers!

I didn't know Tate before DW but I was SO not interested in Donna at first... ...and now she is my favorite companion.
