6:03 do any other beach duos do the double block? is it actually a viable strategy or what haha ive never seen it before
No its not viable and easy to play around if seen by the attacker. It is hilarious though and on very rare occasions it actually works due to the surprise factor. I have only seen teams to this, if both players are stuck at the net for some reason and can not get back into a defense position.
Just occasionally
it's really not, but they were out of position. The defender was right at the net and could not get to a defensive spot on court. So it was the best they could do at the moment.
