The bias over fair skin has been ingrained deep in our society, the feeling of insecurity starts when their own parents looks down on them and compare their skin color to siblings... For instance a dark skin kid cannot wear their fav colour dress as they might look even darker.... It is sad reality...!

Somewhere or the other it will slip through. And even in this woke section, there is a class bias. Young girls from the lower socioeconomic strata still want to lighten their skintone when they purchase skincare or foundation shades.
