"yeah but crypto has smart contracts". Look, annoying as it is, the longer it takes them to figure it out the better it is for the rest of us slowly accumulating BTC.
She mentioned "crypto has smart contracts" I wonder if she understands any real-world scenario example in which those "smart contracts" are in use for those crypto/proof of stake blockchains?
@@jairunet Best real world usage of "smart contracts" is with CLTV, CSV, and multisig scripting in bitcoin to enable payment channels like lightning. Anyone that suggests "turing complete" smart contracts at the protocol level is wise from a security , scalability , and efficiency perspective is very ignorant.

all the points he makes about open public infrastructure apply to smart contract protocols (like Ethereum) as well. the world doesn't run on one stack of infrastructure. different infrastructures for different needs. glad he's bringing eyeballs and confidence to the space, but maxis need to chill sometimes

Thank you for continually letting every interviewer using the word crypto and grouping bitcoin into the crypto world. We need to keep making the distinction that there is a huge difference investing in technology that’s the same as the fiat system compared to one that’s a short on the current economic system and can work in conjunction with multiple currencies due to layer 2 and layer 3 with the base focused on the most bad ass security ever built with military grade encryption technology. Even then, it needed time to develop and for people to realize what the word digital means so it’s so far ahead of anything else nothing is worthy of being discussed along side of bitcoin especially tech which contradicts bitcoin.
