I had an 89 model back in the early nineties, put a heap of kms on it up and the east coast of Australia between Sydney and Brisbane, wonderful bike. Thanks for sharing, brings back some fond memories
Your rev counter is not working properly. The GPX 600 is a good bike. But it's not a good as the GPZ 600. But you have to be lucky to be a good condition one now. I owned a GPZ 600 in 1990. Kawasaki then in 1988 raced the GPX under the team green banner . With some good results. So good fun bike to ride 👍
I have acquired a gpx400 in a very molested state.. as a non runner i think its had a have a go hero mess with the entire thing, got it running but noticed it was low on compression and burning oil, top end refresh sorted that, now need some dry weather to finish her up
I had bought it new back in 1991. Gorgeous bike, medium performance even for the 90's with nice, sharp cornering. But the brakes were dreadful.. the anti-dive combined with 16 inch spokes made it an absolute disaster.. There was no feeling of braking whatsoever..even in the lowest position.. that bike spat me out like a piece of shit a couple of times.. the second time I was in high speed..The second truth was the looks were similar to a Ducati Paso but I couldn't afford buying it.. So I bought the Kawasaki instead.. bad bad bad for me..I had also experienced some issues with the carbs and tank corrosion...Final verdict.. : due to those awful brakes it was the worst bike I've ever ridden..

That looks fabulous except for the colour scheme.
Do you send your bikes to UK?
Yes
What's the black box called between the tank and the seat?
