Kiango is a clever little gorilla. I think he is definitely a daddy's boy. Kiango is taking a morsel here and there . Good and kind BaoBao is very subtle about sharing his food . Kiango us a wonderful little guy.
BB is a picky eater and indeed very easy on Kiango when it comes to the food he doesn't really like. But if Kiango tries to eat his sweet potato or tomato then he has a problem haha. But it is indeed wonderfull to see!

I don't mean to be a bother but I read your comment and I have questions. 1. This troop is relocating? 2. You mentioned Jabari? Is that "Jabali" in the Djeeco troop? In advance THANK YOU! *This is a beautiful video, btw. And I am so fascinated with the toddlers Kiango, Ringo, Jabali & Sumomo* ❤
I hope also. The reasons are a bit unclear. But the zoo is telling it is because it is too much for BB to handle a family. Jabari and Chama will be going to the bigger island with silverback Banjoko. And I guessing M'Fugaji and Mintha are also staying on the bigger island. And then maybe Mandji will join BB, Kiango and Nemsi. Whatsoever a lot is unclear and will unfold when the zoo is opening up again. When the zoo opens up again I'll be filming both islands. Although the smaller island will be a challenge, we all want to know how they're doing over there right ;)
@@m.w.976 1. A part of the group. They've got two islands in this zoo. 2 Jabari isn't related to Kiango, he is a teenager. You probably think of Jabali who is related but lives in Taipei ;).
@@m.w.976 Kiango & Bao Bao are moving to the other island because ( I think ) BB isn't well & they are bringing in another silverback from France, that means little Kiango won't be safe. Jabari is Tayari & Irikis half brother. Jabali is Tayari's son. I love Ringo & Sumomo too. I'm sure if I have got it wrong Lieke will correct me, she was the one that told me. Hope that helps.✌️
I think little Kiango has the biggest belly of any lowland toddler gorilla I’ve ever seen ! It’s usually the mountain gorillas that have the big pot bellies
Kiango has the way of walking(manner) of his father. Gorillas are very beautifull... It's sad he has no brothers and/or sisters to play with them. But he has two other monkeys as companions...
The thing is they would love him to have a little brother or sister and the ladies aren't on birth control. But BB doesn't no very well how to mate and probably his quality of seemen isn't the best because of is health. Maybe in the future with a new silverback. But for the coming years Kiango has to play with the smaller monkeys Moto and Mojo.

Don't know about that. I can see them on the other island as well, but it is a bit more difficult because I need to film from a bridge and there's lots of bushes on the island. So as long as Kiango is exploring the island, I'll be able to film him ;)
Esse é o único zoológico que não alimentam bem os gorilas, da dó de ver como esses filas são tristes, magros e só tem barriga...olha pra o físico deles..😢😢😢..Odeio esse zoológico...
You obviously know little about gorilla anatomy and this zoo. This zoo has housed and nurtured some of the finest WLLG in this species conservation program. And gorilla bellies are bigger because they have to house their huge internal/digestive organs. Their bellies swell with gas because of all of the plants fiber they eat throughout the day. I'm sure their keepers know what's happening with them more than a viewer who is undereducated about primate anatomy and especially western lowland gorilla anatomy. The only reason you should be concerned if you see a severely underweight gorilla with severe fur loss. These gorillas appear healthy by all standards.
