Factual statement
This fits so we'll into the album.
This song may have no lyrical meaning to it but it tears me up everytime I come across it.
I lost a friend who our entire relationship was sharing music with each other. My introductory to this band was this song that I sent to her unknowingly while she was being flown to a hospital where she died. She never got to hear it but I know she would’ve loved it and she would have enjoyed the chance to come see them play this weekend.
This is the best re-recording of an album I’ve ever heard.
Cutting the ties, Salt and Light and Leveler are AMAZING.
I’m so happy.

@@camdensmith7450 definelty the better version. mix isn't as muddy overall. punchy drums, great vocals and sweet solos and guest spots. all around improvement in my book. and this song just kicks things off with a bang.

@@Vote_By_Mail you didn't exist 2021 years ago but you inherited the same sin everyone else has since Adam. Jesus had to die because that was the only way our sin can be forgiven. The penalty for sin is death, therefore he had to die even though he was sinless. That's how he paid for the sin of all mankind.

Okay so I inherited sin from one guy, it was repaid by a different guy... all before I was born. How did he serve everyone's death sentence concurrently? So now we are free to sin? Why is that the only way that sin can be forgiven? Isn't Jesus's father the guy who writes the rules? Why would he make it so that you have to die... but not you, only his own son... to rectify the sins that weren't even done by you?
Yeah this is confusing af... Serious question: Doesn't "repent" mean to show GENUINE remorse? How can I show GENUINELY remorse for something that I literally didn't do? And something that frankly wasn't even that bad... I mean the guy ate a fruit that was placed right next to him, after Eve already had, and without any prior knowledge of the concept of good and evil.
@@Vote_By_Mail by inheriting sin I didn't mean you're born guilty of any particular sin. I meant that you're born with a sinful nature and will eventually sin. We inherited that sinful nature from Adam, who by the way knew he wasn't supposed to eat of the fruit. We are not free to keep sinning. Jesus died to pay for our sins but we still have to repent and believe in him. Repentance requires that we turn away from sin. That means we don't continue to willfully sun.
