Almost every player's cards go down in value over time; even superstars. And the more a card gets graded, the more the value of that card goes down. Demand for a player's card also has to be taken into account. If demand for his cards slips, then yes, the cards will definitely go down in value.

If he continues to do well, his cards will continue to get graded like crazy. And all his lower-end cards will keep losing value.
