    Music is like story telling in the same sense that you build context before tackling the main subject, aka the root note. Doing it right away, like I have done in the past, would be boring and kind of repetitive and it isn't interesting to hear. The more i improvise i find out that, playing the root is a statement. I have to learn how to lean into the root note while telling a "compelling story", building context, this to me, means playing the other notes of the chord like the 3rd, 7th, 2nd or whatever notes 🙂Anyways just my two cents i thought id share before i forget! Awesome track.

      Even non musician listeners will anticipate the next note or chord, great songs will fill their expectations or have them pleasantly surprised. Usually by changes that hold back the punchline of the joke.

    You really hit this one out of the park. That thing is oozing emotion and it almost makes me sound like I know what I am doing 😂. This one is probably ending up in my regular rotation.

    App looks great! What does 'faded' mean over by the bpm/time signature?
    Man I am so ready to use Alpha Jams! Do you think it would be possible to record what we play straight into Garage Band from the app? So I could just plug my guitar into my iPad and end up with a recording of the BT with my playing over it?

    • @nowyoushred
      @nowyoushred  Год назад +2

      Hopefully, we will have the app out for early access next week! The “faded” thing is just the title of the track!

      @nowyoushred  Год назад +2

      As far as the garage band thing, that should be pretty easy. You just need to capture the audio from the app. If you want to capture video as well, you can use OBS. I’ll probably make a video on the subject once we release.

    Knopfler style - without the country swing beat - are you and your friend gonna let me down? Let me know one way or the other, so I can make my plans. Fade to Black blues style also. You always had the knack - fade to black
