We waited for another show and thought "hey, that stage don't have a crowd yet, lets go over and see who's coming up next" so we waited and it was Susperia. An amazing show plus the singer threw out their new EP for free in the crowd, that shit just doesn't happen today. Good ol' memories!

This video was on Headbanger's Ball all the time during this era. In fact, this video was played on the Dimebag Tribute Show the Saturday after he was killed. They played a hour of Pantera, then a hour of regular videos. The opening part of this song made me sad thinking of what just happened.
First album was incredible. This album could've been great too, but the vocals are WAY too Americanized. People claim that Children of Bodom sold out to American audiences, but at least the Alexi never started singing like this. Could you imagine how badass this album would've been if Suspiria didn't soften their vocals?

The genre is "thrash" not "trash". LOL. These guys are not neatly categorizable. The opening guitar reminds me of A7X "Hail to the King.". Whatever you call 'em, they certainly have it going on.
