Yusuf youhana as he was known then later became known as mohammed yusuf was the most stylish naturally gifted batsman that Pakistan ever produced alongside saeed Anwar. He was most elegant and classy played with a straight bat would of scored more hundereds in both odi and tests if it wasn't for the pcb messing up his career. He was the most technically gifted played Pakistan ever produced.

His technique skills temperament defence approach to bowl all was inspiring . His contribution to the upliftment of Pakistan cricket can't be denied. He could play more if PCB give him chance.

He was dropped for Misbah, and then after that it was never the same. My favourite batsman, great player! If he was allowed a natural end to his career, he'd be the highest run getter in Pak history, highest average etc.

Muhammed Yousef hit silky cover and lofted drives, so pleasing to the eye. A mainstay of Pakistan's Test and ODI middle order since the year 2000. He won us so many matches.
He retired way too early, he should have continued until his late 30s.
he was dropped in 2010(around that time preliminary squad for 2011 was announced and Yousuf was dropped in favour of misbah or asaad shafique, if i am not wrong). at that time he was 36 and making a comeback at 36 wasa never going to be easy
