I've NEVER seen a rookie group has the ability to hype the crowd like what Mamamoo did. And when I say NEVER I mean NO ONE DID IT LIKE MAMAMOO! Gosh you can clearly see how they were so nervous here compared to themselves in the present. Still, they sang it all live! Wheein shone ever since she appeared on the stage (I fell in love with her thanks to this stage), Solar went all in with those high notes, Hwasa hyped tf out of the crowd while MoonByul nailed her rap part. AND BISH THAT'S HOW SINGERS/ ARTISTS SHOULD BE! SINGING LIVE & INTERACTING WITH THE AUDIENCE not just lip syncing while showing skins & fake smiles. I know it's little hard to accept but if one always lipsync/ sing live badly without any single improvement though they've debuted 2-3 years... then they should be dancers or photo models instead. Those ain't deserved to be called singers while Mamamoo worked their asses out, burning their fk throats to living up with that title!

This is so insanely impressive, not only because they just debuted, but because there’s zero backtrack playing behind their live vocals. There’s no kpop group doing it like Mamamoo.
Wheein missing the start of her ad-lib and then coming back in to finish it perfectly (just shortly after 2:50) is one reason I love this performance so much. When I first watched this, I didn't know Piano Man very well and honestly had no idea that anything was missing. Now it's obvious to me because I'm familiar with the song. Her confidence in being able to make a mistake and then fix it perfectly as if nothing had happened, as a 7-month rookie performing for the first time in front of pretty much the entire K-pop industry - that gives me chills. Actually the whole performance, from all four members, gives me chills. Two and a half weeks earlier, they were on Immortal Songs 2 for the first time. An amazing era for Mamamoo.
I love how they all made little mistakes and I can feel they're all nervous. I'm so used to the PERFECT PERFOMERS version of mamamoo so I find this really refreshing for some reason. As always, their passion is exuding in this performance! POWER ROOKIES MAMAMOO!

Solar kept almost stepping on the end of her skirt nultiple times, and Whee In almost missed her part at 2:50 as well, but you wouldn't even notice if you didn't know or weren't looking closely! The professionalism even as rookies is undenyable!

I think her legs aren't shaking, it's because the stage was going down to a stop so it jolted a little and she is wearing heels so it jolted and she was trying to keep her balance.
2:09 literally i think they purposely let wheein walk ahead on the circled stage cause in case the other 3 messed up the choreo while reaching the stage knowing wheein she can effortlessly catch up no matter what the choreo on that part is so they they can easily follow wheeins,,
For moomoos and MMM this is a real special one, the way they were too nervous, Hwasa cracking voice, they shining, people screaming. It's beautiful. I cried watching this, I always do.

Usually most companies will give back phone to their artists only if they achieve 1st music show win and RBW was supposed to did the same but had to return it to Mamamoo bc they won ROTY. Which is amazing for 5 months old group from small company to quickly achieve that. An annual award that prestigious than weekly award.

It's amazing how a rookie group was doing a performance with no backup track. The four girls who are hella nervous and still managed to pull off this performance well. It wasn't perfect or best synchronized but rawfully beeautiful and undoubtedly my favorite one.
In the beginning it seemed like they were quiet(especially Solar) and they didn't sound sure of themselves but at around 1:38 you can hear a major difference in quality, as if they gained confidence immediately.
I thought that the mics of Solar and Hwasa did not function correctly or it was screwed up in post processing due to compression and filtering since at Solar sounds louder in 0:25 at the begining then 0:42-0:57 sounds too quite in an uneven quality. Similarly, the voice of Hwasa from 0:59 - 1:14 also sounds discontinuously in terms of quality and volumes. Overally speaking, the voice source of this video is not in good quality in my opnion but they still performed very well :)
Mamamoo dancing & singing it live but now a days k-grups cannot sing live on encore stage 🤐... Really mamamoo set my standards so high for live singing ❤💅👑 Indeed Queens 👑❤️😍

The best part is when they sang together on the little round stage, which is so dynamic and vibrant! I feel the ending of stage for "I'm alright" by four vocal queens was trying to re-create similar vibe but I like this stage better as 1+1+1+1 > 4 for Mamamoo :)
