For a coaster from Canada I would recommend Coaster at PNE. From what i’ve heard it has pretty good airtime but has been a little restrictive due to the seatbelts.
Out of 786 roller coasters, I think it’s impressive that you can narrow it down to 100 of your favorites. The editing was pretty funny, most of introductions of the new coasters in the countdown, I cracked up at the dramatic “thud” and 69😂😂 Glad to see a Morgan included on the list too😊 The best of the best will be in Pt. 2 I’m sure!
One thing I appreciate about your ranked lists videos is how short and sweet you keep entry. Just a few sentences per each entry makes me think you appreciate your viewers' time. The other thing I like is how you keep us on your toes with some pick that just came out of nowhere. I may not agree but I'll enjoy the change-up! I think most of us enthusiasts have that oddball coaster every now and then. My oddball preference (compared to most enthusiasts) is that I seem to just not "get" Montu 😂 I love the hell out of Kumba and would probably place that one in my top 50. (I've ridden 400+ coasters and my top 50 is probably mathematically similar to your top 100.)
As a 50-something enthusiast, who has had a 25-year break from coasters, I’m really impressed with myself that I have been on your #100 and #1 coaster in the last few months. I didn’t like Superman Krypton Coaster at all. I’ve never been on a rough B&M before but the roughness (and the positive Gs) gave me a headache that prevented a reride of Iron Rattler (which was my first ever RMC). I went on your #1 coaster 10 days ago, with my nine-year old boy. Well worth the trip … I won’t name it for those who haven’t seen the follow-up but WOW! Your #1 ride is phenomenal, and partly because it is so extreme yet NOT extreme. I could ride that coaster repeatedly without fear of discomfort, something I couldn’t say about #100 or most of the coasters in the town of my birth (Blackpool).
I was like "no way he left off Galeforce" and then once the video got into the 60s I figured maybe it just missed the cut 😂 I knew you like it as much as I do
So happy to see this ranking; grand respect for figuring out how to rank these coasters! I look foward to your list the most of any youtuber's because the rankings are similar to how I rank my coasters.
Nice list and good and short on each coaster so you can nicely enjoy it wile not getting bored. Most of them on this list i haven't ridden yet (but a lot of them i will have an opnion on in the comming year). Considerign our differerces of preferntials in coasters i would fully agree with you list. Thats why i like watching your clipps so much you are verry consitstend and i can really well predict what i'm gonna enjoy from what you tell. Thier is just one i didn't get and that was Troy i know its not really your kind of woody but its just completly off with my experiences of it must have been a bad day when you rode it.
My favourite Coaster is still Taron. It is the definitive FUN experience for me. I also dont think it is tame at all. For some reason it feels more intense then even coasters like Zadra. But that is probably an unpopular opinion.
Thanks for preferring RMC Goliath to the trio of OG smaller RMC Raptors. The only RMCs I've ridden are Steel Vengeance May 2018; Twisted Colossus in Nov 2019; Jersey Devil in May/June '22, Goliath in June '22 and Railblazer Oct. 28th 2023. I loved it at 1st but had enough eventually after a total of 9 rides on it that day (5 in the back) and in my mid 50s it's too intense to be in my top 30 coasters and I've only ridden about 160. I saw people older than me riding it but I don't think they rode it that many times in one day. I also rode Goldstriker 7 times that day; 5 in the back and it hurt my ears due to ear rapists who already scream on the lift hill and aren't likely to spare my ears after the drop with all those tunnels and a relentless ride. It's a little rough, especially at one southern downhill twisty section. It's better than Apocalypse at SFMM, I'd say even a little better better but not as smooth as Mystic Timbers but no where near as good as Ghostrider. I'll make a point of bringing earplugs next time I ride any roller coaster. Can't wait to see part 2. Thanks for posting!
Very good list thus far. I’m at 578 credits so roughly 75% of your count and I’ve rode 36/50. I’m in the Taron camp being a great coaster. I was really impressed with that ride. Storm chaser is another one that I think I enjoy a bit more than you. I’ve rode it in a couple of different years so maybe you caught it at a bad time. We are aligned with Superman at SFNE. I don’t get the hype. Good ride just not elite. Mystic Timbers is at 40 for me so if I had your credit count I’m guessing it is boarderline top 50 so your thought process is good on this one as well. Boss and beast are probably the two you like a bit more than me but both are good rides. Like I said your list overall is quite good. Looking forward to the top 50.
It's so funny how different the opinions are on the coasters in Phantasialand. To me Taron is the absolute number one. FLY really disappointed me, the theming is amazing but I just don't think flying coasters are my rides since I wasn't too impressed by Galactica as well. Black Mamba is a solid number 3, though I enjoy Colorado Adventure more.
if you go to Asia, make sure to go to Tokyo Disney because you say splash mountain at disneyland is the best water ride you've ever ridden, well the Tokyo one is said to be the best of the 3 versions of splash mountain
Honestly you should do the same as airtimethrills in your top 100. That is place like top right corner what this coaster ranked last year So we what coasters went up and down.
Gotta question the boss being higher ranked than a lot of much better coasters: Montu, Storm Runner, all the GCI’s you listed, all the B&M hypers you listed, etc…
The Beast number one only at night by far the best night ride you have ever rode like yes Steel Vengeance is obviously number one but if we’re going by what’s the best night ride it has to be The Beast especially in the front seat bc you can’t see anything but the moon but if you’re lucky to get a New Moon it’s gonna be pitch black and it makes you feel like The Beast is chasing you I love The Beast also love Diamondback I just love coasters in general
I'm in the UK and doubt we have a coaster that would even break your top 100, hopefully Universal Great Britain's inevitable domination of the family market, will force the other parks to invest in thrill rides.
Currently just got out of the hospital, turns out I broke my arm from me falling off a bike 2 days ago got a cast on it can’t work at carowinds till I get it off or I do surgery
