The sidecar looks cool but wouldn't work for me. I wouldn't want to ride on regular roads with something that wide and slow. And it is too wide to pass by other people on bike paths. Could be used for little neighborhood rides but that is pretty limited abilities for such an expensive bike. Good review of an interesting bike. But since you mentioned the suspension seatpost and how it reacted to different weights I hope you kept in mind that preload is adjustable on that type post. You increase preload for heavier weight and decrease for lighter.
I would have to say with the sidecar, since I have one. I like the look of the bike but that wasn't my main reason for buying it, I needed something that my Service Dog could ride along and I didn't really want to pull a trailer. Overall it's a nice riding bike until you add the Sidecar then it takes a little bit of getting use to, specially making right-hand turns. If you think the power level is too high when you go into pedal assist 2, you can adjust the power levels in the main menu, you also have the choice of three different pedal assist settings 5,7,9.. There's only a couple of things I don't care for about this bike, The front headlight and the bracket that holds it on, the flashlight on my cell phone is brighter than the headlight, and the bracket that holds it on is not that secure. I like to see them replace the middle strut that connects the sidecar to the bike with a shock, so the sidecar not so rigid when it hits bumps. EBR, first we lost Pearce, i havent seen Sam "hands" Gross in a while. The younger guy with the beard (name?) took over for Pearce? Welcome Patrick, you're doing a great job on these reviews. If only i had this ebike back when my son was younger. He would of loved riding in that sidecar along side me. If i bought that bike, i would have no use for the sidecar. People with dogs, i can see buying w/ sidecar all day.

Had to give up my solo riding on Harley ( Molly is so demanding , ha.) .Now an ol " Hack Driver ", we have had Ural 750 - a Yamaha 1200 - BMW 1200 , presently a special made Kaw 900 rig - all unique sidecar rides. ( Yes we have " flew them " all. Ha) . Now 80, I have given up Hwys trips and big gals. Time to relax, trip around valley , a PBR brew here , there, ha. And YES the bike seems expensive BUT an ol Sailor can't take his VN combat pay with him ! We will sell our present, new wheel- the Phatmoto gas 79 cc bike - the new Rambo elec. 750 - and the ol Dong Fang 250 cc gas, street chopper . WE will try the MOD Easy sidecar bike ---- " Brsvo Zulu " on your review ! "Mtn Mel & Molly Blue " ( Yes, she has goggles, ha.) This is a really good looking bike, but it’s generic, it’s not a special frame design from the manufacture. This would be ok, but 3.3k end you end up with a ceeeeeeeeaaap Altus? Also the battery, with this size of the „tank“ you would expect something around 1kWh. It would also be a huge selling point. Last point are these unlockable grips. A no go. The rest looks just quite nice.
