We knew forever that Canada is a leftist country, for good or bad. The problem is when people try to live big style, like in the US. Being moderated and cautious with expenses and debts is the key to have a good life in Canada, specially if you come from a poor country, like mine.
But there are several advantages here, compared to the US.
Universal healthcare is not optimal, but good enough, security in major cities is ok, accesible superior and technical studies, amazing nature close to major urban areas. The big problem right now is housing, but if you work online, you can move to more affordable places to live. Not everything is in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver or even Calgary nowadays.
Places like Edmonton, Saskatoon or Winnipeg, are not the most beautiful cities in Canada, but you have to compare them against the place you come from.

People complaining today that Canada is allowing too many immigrants into the country which is true somewhat. There is also a problem with Canada govt. promising people abroad to come here with great jobs, housing and education etc, etc only for the immigrants to find out after arriving it’s all BS and the whole family end up working in low wage hard labour jobs and having to work at 3 jobs to support themselves. Canada didn’t look too good when an Independent UN human rights expert commented on Canadas temporary foreign worker programmes describing them like “a breeding ground for contemporary forms of slavery”

People leave for many reasons 1cant find a job 2 after working for 2 years people probably think it’s not worth it they were better off in there country so they leave . Lived in Canada for 40 years houses in 1990 were a good price if you had a decent job you could afford a small house not anymore . I know some people they came to Canada in 2019 and worked saved enough money and just bought land back home and built a house smart they came from Ireland. They have lots of land they just charge rent he has a guy using the land and charges him rent smart

I have moved to Canada in the last 5 years from the USA. Igor has become very political in right wing politics. Igor has become very wealthy in Canada after moving from Ukraine in relative poverty. Canada has been VERY GOOD to him. Please consider that expenses and inflation is raising all around the world. I recommend taking what he complains about with a grain of salt. Compare the issues of Canada to other places in the world and you would get a more rational view.

    • @H0pe4All

The inflation all arround the world is becoz cluster b ppl r in positions of power. these narcissists & other cluster b creatures r RUINING society & the system of humanity with their need to control on other ppl & to eliminate kindness & trust among ppl.
these narcissists behaviours r what ruin everything arround us.
More Ppl need to wake up ⏰️ about the ROOT of all of the problems. Becoz of the pride & control of the narcissists in positions of power, there r wars & life r being taken.
