No one is perfect but I like when people take accountability for hurting someone and the fact that you privately reached out to Kathy was nice. Words, tone and attitude matters. These are small businesses with people who work hard to create something for us to enjoy and it’s a great reminder that choice of words and descriptions can be hurtful. There is a place to disagree and not like something but there is also a positive way to do it. ❤ You found a way to do it here.
I was just thinking I might want to go in on the 3 cakes preorder in January. Perfect timing! So awesome of you to apologize so publicly. It takes a lot of courage and humility. 😊 I 100% agree that it is so important how a reviewer presents a product/wax even when they don’t care for it. It’s not just saying “it’s my channel and I can say what I want” type attitude. That’s missing the point completely. It’s the tone of voice, the body language, the words used, etc. You do a great job of presenting in a positive way. Thank you!
Totally agree Laura. I try to be positive even if I don’t like something although I was a bit harsh with the BBMBs but I feel Scentsy is a different animal than vendor wax but maybe it shouldn’t be. Maybe I feel that way because it’s a huge company where as vendors really try to listen and want feedback but not in a hurtful way. Anyway truer words could not have been spoken.

Hey Steph, I plan on ordering the preorder in January. Never bought any of her wax but saw a lot of good reviews of it. Pistachios is one of my favorite scents. All most every time I see on a vendor’s list I buy it. Kathy is having a sale the 14th which is tomorrow. I think 25% off whatever she is offering.
