16 Sorts - Disparity Dots
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 14 июл 2017
- In this visualization, the distance of each dot from the center is determined by how correct of a position that number is in. For example, if the number 1 is in the middle of the array, it will produce a dot very close to the center, as it is supposed to be the first element in the array. However, if the number 1 is near the beginning or end of the array, it will produce a dot much further from the center. This means that, when fully sorted, every dot will be at its maximum distance from the center, and a circle (oval) will be produced.

how to perform Counting Sort:
1. Read everything once
2. Read everything twice
3. sort it.
@yoval keshet its actually very simple but limited to specific scenarios.
I always find that sort so satisfying because of the simple efficiency of it
Basically, it goes like this. I have numbers 5346271, it reads them, and says, "okay. My lowest number is one and my highest number is seven. I know the values of each numbers. Now which ones are higher?" Then it reads them again, storing information on which numbers are less than/ more then others, and the sorts the numbers in full order.
@@Psyony No, it does not. It first obtains the lowest and highest number, and then simply counts how many it has of every number in that range. After that, it can sort the entire array, as it knows how many of each number there are.
This is very powerful when you have a large array with integers that are very close to each other.
How about Gravity sort? It counts it once then transcends the number to where they should go.

It would be a black midid maybe
You could assign the current numbers to notes. if you take the chromatic scale (All 12 notes) and octave them up to get all the required 500 notes it would sound basically the same as now, despite some random funny licks. But not viable. If you would take a proper 8 note scale (which would come in 7 flavours) it would sound like a VERY weird solo.
