A funny thing- I just learned how to do the blanket stitch of all things teaching preschool. My students have been interested in sewing and when I was absent a substitute teacher showed the lead teacher how to do it and then the teacher taught me. We were having the students make tiny pillows with their drawings of themselves on the front fabric. I have done the blanket stitch on the sewing machine. I just became aware of Pretty Little Studio when I was shopping A Cherry on Top. I love the vintage look.
