Despite it exist bottleneck, is minimum in the vast of majority of games (GPU over 90%)
In CPU demanding games, you can get excellente framerate. Maybe at 1440p the results could be different

I got heavily bottleneck in CSGO2 and Last of us with my current config R5 5500 and RTX 3070 ,for the last of us i got the same fps on high 1080 and 1440p no differences

What do you say, is it a good combination? I have the same CPU but I want to upgrade from my old 2070 to the newer 3070. I’ve just been wandering around if that would be a such a bottleneck.

I have the rtx 3070 and ryzen 5 5500 but I will upgrade off ryzen 9 5900x with 12c or is a ryzen 9 5950 better with 16c

Most games won’t utilize more than 6 cores if that. Clock speeds, IPC, and cache are far more important than core count unless you’re playing simulation style games.
