    Thank you that’s a good tip! We store our radishes in a container in water in the fridge as well and they stay longer. Same goes for herbs like cilantro, etc..

    Please rince the veg over a bowl. Save the water and use it on your plants. WATER IS PRECIOUS!!!

    Teaspoon of vinegar in the water bath, then rinse and store. Cleaner and safer!

    That’s all well and good but you now also have to wash up a bowl and a strainer… just was them by hand in the sink under the tap

    This is the “camper’s” way of washing most anything with very little water. It’s bomb for Rice.
    Also you can easily wash spinach by holding the stems and dipping/swishing in a bowl/pot of water to remove any dirt. Then, while still holding the stems, shake off excess water, lay on chopping board and cut off the leaves, toss stems. voilà 🥬
