Okay so I see the negative comment below. THIS IS A FANTASTIC GUITAR! I have D-18, D-28 and D JR parlor guitar. This is the only one I pick up anymore. Experienced players should be aware however, you will want to sand the bridge saddle to get the right action. I now have perfect string height and use .11s. Just unreal. I can play licks as if were my strat and still have that beautiful acoustic voice.
Hi brother. Does it have effects like rock jazz, drum effects etc? And to your knowledge, what is the main difference between lava original freeboost and lava me 2 freeboost?
Lekker review. Just ordered one. Good tpo hear your thoughts and playing. Any thoughts on how to change the battery. They say it lasts around 6 years. Anyway can't wait for it to arrive!
Just received mine. Perfect out of the box. One of the best-playing acoustics I've ever owned (actually it is the best-playing acoustic I've every owned)
Action pretty good. It's a fun guitar, but has a very unique sound that wood doesn't have. Just different. Never be my go to, but glad to have a guitar I can take camping and on road trips.
This is a travel guitar. NOTHING more. Compared to any good guitar it sounds pretty bad. Action and neck feel fine, intonation ok, nothing special. Don't buy unless you plan to travel or camp and you know you will never carry a fine instrument....and there you have it. Don't even consider comparing it to a fine instrument; you are exposing yourself as one who has never played a fine instrument. My 1991 Taylor 612 is glorious, this is meh. BUT.... I plan to travel and camp and mountain bike for days or weeks at a time....This will keep me playing on the road. At home, It will never be touched. This is a travel guitar, one you don't worry about in the car or the tent. End Of Story. Own one, not paid... of course, just honest review
I'm gonna disagree with you. This is a lot more than a simple travel guitar. I agree that it doesn't compare to some fine old acoustic -- they're a different instruments. I've had my share of nice folk guitars, but none of them made me want to play them like this one. This thing GROWLS. And even though I initially thought of the effects as a gimmick, I've since come around: they add a new aura to the "folk" sound that you'll never get with your Taylor. Beyond that, the fretwork on my guitar is amazing -- I've never had an acoustic that's as easy to play at the 12th fret as it is at the first. The (slightly) slimmer neck is a huge plus. I also appreciate the smaller form factor. I've never been comfortable playing full-sized folk guitars. And now I don't have to.
I bought this guitar and I really like it, but I guess mine was defective because it doesn't make any difference when I turn it on. After trying the troubleshooting I returned it and didn't buy another one, at least until I can really try it in person. It was a painful return, they took forever to give me the money back

I think 6 years from now you would have already ordered your Lava Me X Pro! Haha! It's an amazing instrument! Thanks for the comment!
How was the action out of the box? Did you have to set it up at all? I'd like to try it out in person, but none in my area.
The action was perfect, and I mean, I literally took it out of the shipping box, noone else touched it.
@@DeeDawgMusic sweet thx for the info!

I would like to hear the guitar without the effects...
