    Get the Disco out there Kris ! :) Secret Spot isn't so secret anymore. Everytime we go there there's usually someone set up...

      Hey Nudge, thanks for the comment & stay tuned... Kris & I will do trailer setups in up coming vids. We both have trailers with different setups that have their different applications for touring, but the UP4ADVENTURE trailer is the perfect four wheel drive trailer, it will go anywhere the 150 takes it!!!

    Hey all, we just want to reiterate to check with the local authorities before deciding to camp in these locations. There are definitely signed areas that say no camping (between the entrance to the fireline and "Spot 1"), so we kept away from those areas.
    If you decide to take the chance and not check with the authorities, at least do the right thing and clean up after yourselves. Otherwise, if you don't, we'll find you and shove a ring spanner up your bum. Thats right, a ring spanner.

    • @Alex.G
      @Alex.G 8 лет назад

      Ouch...is the size of the ring spanner dependent on the seriousness of the crime? :P

      Good question. Didnt think about that. Maybe start with 3" and work down from there ;)

    Thanks guys. Over here in the east we don't get to see much of WA - except the Kimberly. Really good to see there is somewhere else to see. I am planning to spend 3 or so months over there soon so is really good to get ideas. Really liked you video. Post more real soon ah! (ps - will try your 'pizza' recipe). Cheers

    Absolutely love the videos!! I would love to see some more, any videos in the near future currently in the pipeline?
    Hope to see some more from you soon & would love to receive the waypoints/image to where some of the spots are if you can?
    Best camping series/videos I've seen as a Perth local, very keen to see where you go next.

      Cheers Jordan!! Kris just had a new addition to the family, so that's delayed the production a little. Not long now till the next episode is released. I'd say about 2 weeks! Good idea regarding waypoints. We should start leaving this information in the description. 👌

      Hey there. Most of the GoPro footage is used with a gimbal and a bit of colour correction.

    at 35:19 how far south are you on the Murray fireline? in terms of hours drive from the lane poole manned entry gate (at start of video)? Just need a rough reference point how far it is and if its worth the drive for my family. Cheers mate

      Thanks for your feedback Clint. The map is a scanned hardcopy of a 25:1 map which has been blended together using Photoshop. If you are interested, PM me and I will send you the file.

    G'day gents
    We stayed at the same spot (where you guys camped overnight) last weekend 3/9/16. The whole site was under water except for a small portion on the left hand side bank which was relatively dry. The access track (on the left if looking up) in and out was quite slippery and looks like someone has attempted to make another chicken track to the right of the original track, which is now pretty much a car swallowing gorge.
    Quick question for you which is doing my head in - who's driving the drone when it's filming you BOTH driving from above ???? It's got me stumped !! :)

    • @wamadeoff-road1059
      @wamadeoff-road1059  8 лет назад

      Sounds like the rain did a good job. Hope you managed to get comfortable.
      Those Phantom 4's pretty much fly themselves. I was holding the steering wheel in one hand, with the drone remote in the other hand. The drone was set to "follow me mode", which means wherever the remote goes, the drone will follow and point at it. Pretty cool stuff... The particular shot you are referring to, we had to shoot twice. I forgot to press the record button the first run. haha.

    • @pajman4264
      @pajman4264 8 лет назад

      haha. Nah mate, good work. Great to see that area from a different perspective to just ground level. Great job. Must try that Calzone recipe too. Nonna would be proud, if I had a nonna... :)

  • @AdrianHuntSLB

    This video should probably be removed, the track has now been intentionally blocked off now beyond the first spot, by a felled tree. Presumably by parks, presumably because more and more people were going into the area.

  • @BZBDUZIT
