I don`t think that the S65 with the V12 is getting a new generation as far as I know but every S class up to the Mercedes-AMG S 63 4MATIC+ Coupé is still getting continued

I think the best way to close a hood is not to let it fall, but to put it down gently and then press on it with a brisk and firm manner (it works perfectly fine if the locking mechanism is well adjusted). I always thought that letting it fall was creating an unduly shock for any sensitive equipment like the lights

Well, m8 competes with s63 coupe. Not this v12 monster. Plus both s63 and the m8 will destroy this s65 in a drag race. It doesn’t have much power and torque advantage over the v8s and has only rear wheel drive.

The V12 for the S65 Coupe was discontinued in 2019 so this is not a 2020 model.

@@Skyan767 as I said the S coupe line is getting continued only the v12 model (S65) isn't. You can still get the v8 models even tho these are not as exciting
K1ngM4rc0 no, both the s class coupe and the s class cabriolet will be replaced by the new sl in the next generation. Which means the new sl will have a softtop instead of of a hardtop. Mercedes has been going downhill ever since they made these changes.
