In my culture (I’m Latina!), kids get their ears pierced as a baby, and boys can get their ears pierced whenever they ask. I know a lot of boys who had theirs pierced at 5, since they can close up really easily at that age if they no longer want it haha

I got my ears pierced at 3/4 years old 💀 I cried for twenty minutes after they pierced them and they gave me half of their sucker jar to get me to stop crying. I went home with a shopping bag full of dum dums 👹
