I was up at the rock last weekend... Beautiful but very dangerous, I obviously didn't climb the rock but thought nothing of making my way over to it, but about 2-3 mins after leaving the crevice between the rock and the ridge/mountain an almighty bang occurred and roughly 20-25 pieces of massive rock came of the side of the structure landing in the very place I was. I kid you not it sounded like a bomb and I was incredibly shook and very quickly made my way out of there. Had I been standing where I was only moments previous (I was in the crevice for about 20 mins) It likely would not have been a good outcome. BE AWARE, there were no warning signs about the dangers of falling rocks and to be honest the signs at the carpark clearly state it is a viewing point only. When I was there I noticed that the entire base of the structure is littered with rock/boulders but not particularly experienced in hiking in that type of terrrain, I passed no remarks. Now it was a fairly windy day when I was there and naturally that would likely have played a part, and on a good day I would be tempted to venture over again as it truly is a very unique hike but on that day I was a very lucky man.

As you said in the video, none of those rocks on the edge can be trusted to hold.

Hi Oisin,
Are there any access issues to this area?
Cheers.
