I'm French and while happy for our present Rugby, I love great games and wait for England to be back to it's great physical Rugby ... But not with this coach IMO! I'm respectful but some here even say that Eddy Jones is "the best French ally" LOL!
Watching another remarkable season of premiership rugby gave me foolish hope that England's got a great summer ahead. I must of forgotten we are managed by Eddie and he's not managed to get any fluidity out of this English side for the last couple years.
@@CLIFTYPOPS 2019 six Nations England were brilliant and only denied the title by a dogged Wales performance in Cardiff and some temperamental slip ups. Kind of like the world cup. After the six nations England proved they were ready moreso in the warm ups that summer. The year before England were in the doldrums, but their attack was very good in 2018 regardless. With determination and strong new caps they managed a good autumn that year. Curry, Wilson, May all really announced themselves. This year, the next cycle, we look quite a bit more behind than we did in 2018. New caps seem to be nervous and hard to point out good new players for England other than Smith. The attack is also not scoring tries as well as they did in 2018. I feel there is a plan, but I'm concerned. You can't execute a beautiful new attack without strong set piece and rucking and we were really bested there
Enjoyable video, just a shame to me you ddnt include the fantastic gesture before kick off from the barbarians in tribute to the great Phil Bennett 🏴🏴10
@@James-rc6qq I'm French and they missed most of the player from Toulouse, Montpellier, La Rochelle, Bordeaux and Castres because about the french league... Same like England and France are sending a mix of B and C team in Japan the next two weeks
A few takeaways if nothing else, Marcus smith has a bright future (I didn’t catch the game have only seen these highlights) he seemed to be creating things well
Sekou Maccalou is a second row and was apparently played a bit as a winger because of Skelton red card. The story goes that in the french team he is one of the fastest. Now i can say that it's probably not a joke nor a myth. Marcus Smith was one of the few that played well for England. And Le Garrec who is barely 20 was on fire with his 3 tries assist.
Pauvres amis Engliches,, cette défaite est aussi lourde par le score que par la symbolique et restera dans les mémoires de ce côté ci de la Manche. Une équipe de France qui passe une tannée à nos meilleurs "ennemis": -A Twickenham. -A 14 joueurs. -8 essais.
People need to realize the barbarians were trained by the french staff and packed with TOP 14 talents : 9 Couilloud and 11 Niniachvili are Challenge Cup champions with Lyon, 14 Penaud is a well-known french international from Clermont, 15 Spring and 21 Le Garrec are impressive youngsters from Paris-Racing 92, 4 players came from the Champions Cup winner La Rochelle, replacement flanker Macalou is one of the leaders of the Stade Français Paris team, 6 Ollivon from Toulon is former french captain returning from injury etc...It's not embarrassing for England ! Factually, the best coaches and players were on the barbarians side.
@@brucefale6132 We have more depth in the TOP14, you can select a dream squad even though some teams are still playing the final phases...and the french coaching staff is used to train players in a very constrained schedule because our players are less available than in other countries.
He's still experimenting. Teams in transition. Buts its probably fair to say its not looking good for next year. He's got us to one world cup final. Don't act like he's done nothing in his england career.
That red card tells me of a different sport compared to the one I used to play and love. Contact was light, nobody got hurt, and he was also starting to embrace the opponent but he stood because of the knock on.
Except Schickerling did get hurt, he got a concussion and left the game. Allowing the dangerous plays of old that have lead to brain damage and early onset dementia in many doesn't make you 'hard' and isn't 'the good old days', it's moronic and if you yearn for that you should stop watching rugby.
@@gktbaron just saw the highlights and i did not know about the consequences of the hit. But it stays that this rule introduce an objective fault, totally disconnected from the will of the tackler. If a player lean at the right moment of the impact, the tackler can't avoid a red card. That's not fair.

*Titanium Armour* Firstly, titanium armours can be spaced apart to increase the effectiveness at stopping bullets. And spacing the titanium sheets apart creates a cushion that slows the bullet before the titanium is penetrated. For example, a titanium shield can have a thin 1.2mm sheet of titanium over the front of the main shield plate. This 1.2mm sheet can have spacer lugs welded to it. Furthermore, a bullets force will be reduced on impact with a space of 1 centimetre inbetween two titanium sheets. And a 1.2mm sheet of titanium in front of the main shield plate would do this. Lastly, this titanium spaced armour has actually been demonstrated and tested to be effective on the American demolition ranches. Next, spacing other metals apart would create a similar bullet stopping effect. And I imagine that spacing steel apart would be effective to create a cushion that would slow a bullet. In addition, aluminium would also increase in effectiveness spaced apart. Furthermore, I think because of the properties of aluminium spacing it would have limited benifits. However, you would still increase your bullet stopping power by spacing your aluminium apart. As a result, I think that all your metal and alloy armours should be spaced in some way and taking the time to do that is a good idea. Lastly, when you space your armours apart it is so effective that you can expect to stop a higher calibre bullet. And this is particularly useful on a shield. Next, I have discovered the most perfect size and weight bullet shield. After testing with shield weights 10 kilograms is sort of the maximum weight you want a shield to be. Therefore, the perfect size shield is 3mm thick titanium. It is a tower shield to pass through doorways and it is 100cm X 70cm. The total weight is 9.5 kilograms without a handle. In addition, 10kg shields are perfect weight for 160-200 kilogram people. It is a perfect weight because it starts as slightly too heavy to use as a shield and as you practice it eventually becomes light and practical. Lastly, remember that you will be wearing a bullet proof brigandine behind the tower shield. This makes a 3mm titanium shield a reasonable thickness. Table of shields ------------------------ *Titanium backpack buckler* -40cm in diameter -4mm thick titanium -Weight 2.5kg including handle -If the 4mm of titanium is a high tensile strength and spaced correctly you will be able to stop 7.62 NATO and 50cal magnum rounds with this buckler. *Titanium Tower Shield* -100cm×70cm in Area -3mm thick titanium -Weight 10kg including handle -If the 3mm of titanium is a high tensile strength and spaced correctly you will be able to stop 45cal magnum rounds and 5.56 NATO with this shield. *Half a Titanium Tower Shield* -50cm×70cm in Area -3mm thick titanium -Weight 5kg including handle -If the 3mm of titanium is a high tensile strength and spaced correctly you will be able to stop 45cal magnum rounds and 5.56 NATO with this shield. Lastly, the perfect thickness for bullet proof brigandine plates is 3.0mm or 4mm titanium. And you just try and find the highest tensile strength titanium you can and just use that thickness. In addition, I have also decided that if you get a 1mm thick aluminium face size plate you can shape it in to a horror face and then bolt it to your titanium helmet. As a result, you can have a full set of bullet proof brigandine armour with a horror face helmet. That is going to be terrifying with swords and bowling ball cannons. Finally, if your metal tensile strength is high enough you will be able to deflect or even completely proof yourself against 7.62 NATO bullets. In England's defense, it should be said despite the bad result, that this is a really bad matchup to go into being that they're the national team, although not at full strength, which means they had everything to lose. I'm French and while happy for our present Rugby, I love great games and wait for England to be back to it's great physical Rugby ... But not with this coach IMO! I'm respectful but some here even say that Eddy Jones is "the best French ally" LOL!
I'm English and enjoy watching France play over England with Jones as coach 😅

Watching another remarkable season of premiership rugby gave me foolish hope that England's got a great summer ahead. I must of forgotten we are managed by Eddie and he's not managed to get any fluidity out of this English side for the last couple years.
Just wait until the world cup. It's all leading up to it, trial and error. Eddie's a master technician when it comes to world cups.
@@CLIFTYPOPS if it was a 15v15 game the all time i could agree but 14v15 for 45 minutes and to loose this hard is really really really bad
@@bright9187 the six Nations before the 2019 world cup I believe from memory England were rubbish, then fantastic in the WC up until the final
You can't execute a beautiful new attack without strong set piece and rucking and we were really bested there
@@CLIFTYPOPS man you are the the true card board cut out English rugby fan. Finding hope when none can be seen lol

What an extraordinary result, 8 tries for the Barbarians. That's likely their finest outing since 1973.
It's pretty good for French Rugby!
England need a new coach with a new generation...

Weird to see Jones speechless 😀
To lose to 14 men by a couple of points is acceptable BUT to get hammered like this is a joke just like Eddie 😅

France 🇫🇷 3rds with 14 men slap England......enjoyed that.💚☘🇮🇪
It was brilliant 😅💪🏼
This game was absolutely not talked in France, what a shamed, it turned out fantastic XD
Why would it be
Well done Baabaas! Always the flavor
A few takeaways if nothing else, Marcus smith has a bright future (I didn’t catch the game have only seen these highlights) he seemed to be creating things well
The frightening thing is that France have a couple better and three as good as him. Their depth is terrifying.
France are a whole different breed at the moment
Sekou Maccalou is a second row and was apparently played a bit as a winger because of Skelton red card. The story goes that in the french team he is one of the fastest. Now i can say that it's probably not a joke nor a myth. Marcus Smith was one of the few that played well for England. And Le Garrec who is barely 20 was on fire with his 3 tries assist.
Macalou is a back row who can play also on the wings.
Wow..it was like the Barbarians of old.
Tackling by England. Woeful! Some exciting tries though.
Ej didn’t just test out some player. England just not good enough
Pauvres amis Engliches,, cette défaite est aussi lourde par le score que par la symbolique et restera dans les mémoires de ce côté ci de la Manche.
Une équipe de France qui passe une tannée à nos meilleurs "ennemis":
-A Twickenham.
-A 14 joueurs.
-8 essais.

Easy on mate.
He's still experimenting. Teams in transition. Buts its probably fair to say its not looking good for next year. He's got us to one world cup final. Don't act like he's done nothing in his england career.
what a game by the babas
*Titanium Armour*
Firstly, titanium armours can be spaced apart to increase the effectiveness at stopping bullets.
Table of shields
------------------------
*Titanium backpack buckler*
-40cm in diameter
-4mm thick titanium
-Weight 2.5kg including handle
-If the 4mm of titanium is a high tensile strength and spaced correctly you will be able to stop 7.62 NATO and 50cal magnum rounds with this buckler.
*Titanium Tower Shield*
-100cm×70cm in Area
-3mm thick titanium
-Weight 10kg including handle
-If the 3mm of titanium is a high tensile strength and spaced correctly you will be able to stop 45cal magnum rounds and 5.56 NATO with this shield.
*Half a Titanium Tower Shield*
-50cm×70cm in Area
-3mm thick titanium
-Weight 5kg including handle
-If the 3mm of titanium is a high tensile strength and spaced correctly you will be able to stop 45cal magnum rounds and 5.56 NATO with this shield.

Hard call on Skelton but great Baa Baas
In England's defense, it should be said despite the bad result, that this is a really bad matchup to go into being that they're the national team, although not at full strength, which means they had everything to lose. They're expected to win at home, while Baabaa players could just be at their best for the heck of it and for a nice scalp.
This is barely France B/C so not really an excuse either
