HE really was just too awesome to fully comprehend while HE was actually breathing and living among HIS family, friends, disciples and the jewish people... that's an amazing perspective to understand better because of the chosen. thank you. continued blessings. 🕊

Why new Lazarus?
DrSandy, This is same Lazarus since his first appearance in The Chosen Christmas special almost two years ago.

We were really crawling to the finish line of filming, but these scenes are among our best ever.
I don't know Dallas, you've made some PRETTY AMAZING beautiful meaningful touching scenes in 3 seasons 😊 . You can't shadow any of those because of the tremendous impact so many of the past scenes have had on the world!!!! We'll see when we get to view season 4 😊, but I personally think the "best scenes" will be throughout all 7 seasons 👍👏🙌😊 !!!
Please don't sell yourself short on previous scenes because you (and everyone) have done the most beautiful amazing,unbelievable, phenomenal, accurate, respectful (not enuf adjectives) work any writer, director, film maker has done that has touched millions of lives worldwide. No one in the film business has ever done that, BUT YOU HAVE 🎉👏👍🙌🙏🕊

This is so neat. I'm crying watching this. I remember when Dallas was on RUclips asking fans what kind of miracles they wanted to see and I wrote down the raising of Lazarus. He said: Lisa maybe we could do this. I was stunned that he mentioned my name. Praise GOD they are doing the raising of Lazarus in the 4th season. GOD is so good. I know I will be crying the season through. I pray that GOD would move in a gentle and mighty way through these seasons to show HIs love and grace to each person who watches it.

Wow!!!! I did NOT know that Lazarus had a mansion! The thought never entered my mind. I thought perhaps he was a labororer...a craftsman of some kind. I have learned something new today! I can't wait to see and hear Lazarus perspective after he's been raised. Because that's one of the few things that isn't really talked about. And I can only imagine what was going through his head after being brought back from death. Especially by the power of your best friend who is God incarnate 🤯. The Chosen exploring the psychology of the people that knew Jesus is why it's such a fantastic show. Also the late night mischief on set 😂

I'm in the middle of re-watching all the episodes from seasons 1-3 on the DVDs I bought. I'm picking up things I missed the first time. I don't know which story in the Gospels I love the most. I'm still amazed every time I read the chapter about the raising of Lazarus, and I can see Jesus, Lazarus, and Mary and Martha's reactions in my mind's eye.

It really is a thought. Someone liked Lazarus, who was friends long before Jesus became known ...WOW. Imagine realizing you've been buddies with the Son of God, the Messiah, for years and didn't know it.

Lazarus was raised from the dead to mortality again and was not resurrected by Jesus. Christ was the "first fruit" of the resurrection - the first to be resurrected. See 1 Corinthians 15:23. Being resurrected means he would not experience death again, which was not the case.
