I bet your gorgeous willow tree let out a sigh of relief when the pecan tree was removed. It looks even more glorious now with the open view. Your property keeps getting better and better! 🇨🇦
Sooo happy for you. Every time you talked about/showed us the damage that stupid tree was doing to your property, made my blood boil! I can only imagine how happy you are! So fantastic on so many levels! Early holiday gift! Whoo Hoo!!!!
Bless those that skillfully work to take trees down - it's not as easy as it looks. Robbie, you must be so happy. I remember one of the first videos I ever watched of yours was about that tree and its drippings. It's a good day!!
Wohoo! The tree is gone, the tree is gone! 👏👏 happy dance. Now your garden can start to thrive in that area. Loving the evergreen additions. If nothing is attached to the pole any chance you can cut it down (with permission of course)?
i hope you and brent had a great Thanksgiving!!! i just love your lemon cypress that you have next to your newly built garden gate!!!! have a great weekend! stacey from philly
That is the best news EVER!!! How awesome not to have to worry about Freya getting sick from the pecans. Question: have you investigated having an electrician coming out and disconnecting the wires from that pole? Then you can have a tree person cut that silly thing down.
Pecan tree gone! 🥳 I absolutely love the progress you're making in your garden. All the evergreens are such good foundation plants. Love the choices! Thanks for taking us along on your garden journey ❤
Hi Robbie! I'm so happy for you and Brent that the pecan tree is gone! Happy for Freya, too. Does the privet belong to the same neighbors? If so, is there a chance that they will eventually have it removed, too? That would be so nice. I like where you planted the Alberta Spruce, and where you moved the lilac to. It's amazing that you still have so much beautiful color in your gardens. Thank you so much for sharing!
Hi ☀️ First I have to say - now I’m going to have to watch for you at Lowe’s here in Redding - and Wintour! But my husband and I are in Lowe’s sooooo much because we’re constantly doing projects to improve our property and house. Anyways! What about one of those trumpet vines up the power pole? There’s a HUGE one here in town growing wild on a power pole on Placer St and it is so beautiful! You don’t even notice that it is a power pole! Just a suggestion 🤷🏻♀️
What a great day. The plants you put in the ground will do wonderfully. But the cherry on top of the year for your garden was the removal of the Pecan tree.
I used to have a nice big pecan tree behind my garage. I loved it. Lots of shade. Then the electric company showed up one day and said it had to go. Totally changed that side of the yard and not for the better. I have not had any luck with Alberta spruce in my yard. I had three that were perfect for about 5 years then we got an extremely hot summer and all three died in spite of my watering them lots. I tried another in the backyard recently. It was beautiful for two years and then this year up and died again in spite of my care. Everything else survived the summer but it. I won’t try again. Your garden gets prettier and prettier all the time. So enjoy your videos.
Yay, the pecan tree is no more! I was cracking up this morning because i bought the tapered candles you showed us and realized that they had turned on this morning and couldn't understand why. Then, as I reached for the candle remote to turn them off, your video became Kate's, from Hello Garden's, video. Yea, both remotes for my Fire TV and the candles must be on the same frequency. Crazy! Now I know why they were on during the night, they had turned on when I turned off my TV. I was relieved to figure out that I'm not losing my mind, yet😂
I’m so happy your neighbor took out the pecan tree. As you’re adding evergreen interest to your garden, have you considered planting an Italian Cypress tree in front of the telephone pole?
So happy for you that the troublesome tree is GONE! Great neighbors are a blessing. I do have a question about the pole, I know you’ve said it is too expensive to remove, but what about cutting it off to the height of the fence where it is painted black? Then maybe put a trellis on it for a climbing rose or something else? Thanks so much for your vids, I always feel like I’m spending time with a friend while watching.
Glad that tree is gone so you can utilize more of your property. The evergreen is very nice but please straighten it. The alliums will be so nice when they bloom, I just love how different they are. Productive day Robbie. Have a great day.
Hi Robbie, what do you think about planting a Blue Arrow juniper or Italian Cypress in front of the electric pole. They stay skinny, but get super tall and is a perfect way to hide the pole.
The evergreen look good in this plant bed. And the lilac will probably grow faster in the new spot. Question did you use Rosetone for the lilac? Big changes are constant now with pecan tree gone.
Oh wow, I’m so happy for you…no more pecan tree!! Question, would you be able to paint the pole your fence colour, or is it too high? Also, I know you said there is no metre on it anymore, so what is the purpose of the wire? Zone3 Manitoba 🇨🇦👏❄️
Hi Peggy, I hope you get this. . For some reason I can’t respond directly to a replier of an original comment. 🤷♀️🤷♀️. Yes we sure are in the thick of it now. We did go to Mexico early November, and got back the day before the storm. But this is winter on the prairies! Merry Christmas! 🎄❄️❄️❄️
I am so glad that hateful tree is gone. You need a few PW Pillow Talk Gardenias. They’re evergreen, bloom white and perfect for our heat up to zone 11 😮. Run and get Brent’s CC and order them. 😊
So happy for you guys! Hay question?….have you decided when your starting your “back yard grass area?” I can’t wait to see what you come up with. Keep shining ❤ Tammy
So happy for you and your garden, especially the willow, with the tree gone. Would you get in trouble if you painted the rest of the pole black? Doesn't look like there are wires running to it. Too bad you can't at least cut the top part off if you can't have it removed.
Nothing worse in the garden than a tree that drips sap, falling cones etc. Question is your electric pole attached to any wires? If not have someone come and cut it down to the fence height.

OMG! What a great surprise! Nothing like a neighbor taking care of their property that benefits you. Wow! Consider yourself lucky. 😊
I bet your gorgeous willow tree let out a sigh of relief when the pecan tree was removed. It looks even more glorious now with the open view. Your property keeps getting better and better! 🇨🇦
Wonderful news! Let the planting begin.
Happy dance for the pecan tree to be gone! Love all the evergreen interest you're adding! Enjoy your day.
Sooo happy for you. Every time you talked about/showed us the damage that stupid tree was doing to your property, made my blood boil! I can only imagine how happy you are! So fantastic on so many levels! Early holiday gift! Whoo Hoo!!!!
Oh Robbie. . . one of my FAVORITE things to see in your garden is YOU!!! 😃😃😃 Liz
Love that you view the pole as another planting opportunity.
THE PECAN TREE IS GONE! that is amazing 🎉🎉🎉
Love allium. I plant a bunch of it every year. My favorite is drumstick allium.
Bless those that skillfully work to take trees down - it's not as easy as it looks. Robbie, you must be so happy. I remember one of the first videos I ever watched of yours was about that tree and its drippings. It's a good day!!

Wow !!! Your best Christmas gift ever, goodbye pecan tree , woohoo !!! 😜
Im sooooooo excited for you!!!!!!!!! Glad your neighbors took care of that problem.
Tree is gone. Great!!!!! The evergreen looks so beautiful where you planted it. Lilac bush is going to make everything pop.❤❤
Sooooooooooooo happy for you with the tree, and I love the tree you planted. Yes, grow something up it and I think what you want to plant is perfect.
i hope you and brent had a great Thanksgiving!!! i just love your lemon cypress that you have next to your newly built garden gate!!!! have a great weekend! stacey from philly

You could always paint the rest of the pole a dark green so it could fade away a bit more
Pecan tree gone! 🥳 I absolutely love the progress you're making in your garden. All the evergreens are such good foundation plants. Love the choices! Thanks for taking us along on your garden journey ❤
For red interest I’d recommend a royal purple smoke bush, beautiful purple leaves in spring and summer which turn scarlet and orange in fall
I am so happy for you that your neighbor is taking the tree down!
Just an early Christmas gift 🎁

Robbie I can feel your excitement❤Have you ever thought about painting the pole black as high as you can. It would disappear into the landscape.

Great job 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
You are so lucky! My neighbor has a horrible pecan tree that hangs over my fence, I hate it.

Congrats on the tree being cut down

Hi Peggy-Ann! Well the chilly weather has arrived 🥶 or have you escaped to go somewhere warmer?! ☀️🇨🇦

Try a climbing hydrangea on the pole. Will take a few years though.
How about cutting the pole off above when you painted. Just a thought
😊
Great video I know you are elated having that pecan tree removed.
WOW HOW EXCITING!!!! Are there any preorders available?
Try a climbing hydrangea on the power pole!!!

Do you like spider plants for in ground use they can take off good in your warm climate
I don’t think the Alberta spruce needs to be in full sun in zone 9, it will fry🌲
Did your pencil holly lose its leaves?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Just wondering if Georgia and Alabama have issues with aphids since so many pecans trees are grown in these two places.
Find a new home ants 🐜 this is exciting news🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜 I only gamble with my garden…. I say the privet tree is next😏
If there is no wire/power on that pole can’t you cut it shorter and or finish painting it to disgust it🤔?
Morning
🍓😍😍😍❤
Yay… the tree is gone!!
🥰👩🌾🐓
Deal with honeydew from Poplars from neighbors. It is so dirty. Happy your problem will be solved
