Dudhsagar Falls (lit. 'Sea of Milk') is a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River in the Indian state of Goa. It is 60 km from Panaji by road and is located on the Belgavi-Vasco Da Gama rail route about 46 km east of Madgaon and 80 km south of Belgavi. Dudhsagar Falls is amongst India's tallest waterfalls with a height of 310 m (1017 feet) and an average width of 30 metres (100 feet).
The only allowed trekking route is the Kulem- Dudhsagar route which is 15 kms one way. And, one needs to hire a compulsory guide if looking to trek through this route. The same can be hired from the Kulem village. Charges are around INR 3000 per guide which can take a group of 7-10 people.
The waterfall is at its peak flow during the monsoon season lasting from June to September. November to December is also one of the best times to visit Dudhsagar Falls.

Needed a guide to trek its cost around 300 per head
Carry food and water there is only one shop available on the 15 km trek oneside
Trekking through forest is the only available way to see dudhsagar now....
