- High-dose therapy and stem cell transplantation is a treatment option for some myeloma patients. This animation helps you to understand the different stages involved in the procedure and the principles behind them.
Having this procedure done tomorrow, it’s been a long road, but am looking forward to my transplant, hopefully I can obtain the 2 millions stem cells required per 1.5Kg blood 🙏
I hope you are recovering well.
I am now 7 months post transplant, and to look at me, you would think I am back to normal, however I find my joints are still sore and struggle visiting my appointments in London, I have come a long way and from the initial stage 4b diagnosis, I am so grateful I am still here 😊, I just want my joint pain to improve so I can return to work.
Thank you, for reaching out ❤️
@@macmad6959 You will get better and better every day. All the best to you.
Can you tell me during your procedure what all were side effects my mother has to go through it next month and she is very scared
I am getting it about 2 months, so I am very interested.
Can i just say this foundation is brilliant.
A polite notice to the narrators and authors of the text: please don't use the words, such as "YOUR myeloma" as it sounds too offensive to those who are not sick with the disease and are merely watching the video. You can say something like "the PATIENT'S myeloma", or at least the narrator shall say "my myeloma" instead.
😅
Do u have stem cells treatments of kidneys Regenerat ?
I guess that’s weird British-English phrase. 😂
This seems like it works on joint repair 🤔
