Not exactly power metal, although this song definitely is, they are definitely one of my favorite live bands
@@emmamccluskey5366 Yeah, being a smoker, Yannis has his “off” performances, but when he’s at his best, he’s a freak of nature. I was fortunate enough to be in the same room and hear him sing both a cappella and with acoustic instrumentation. He really is fantastic and probably the most versatile vocalist to ever live. The only other one who reproduces studio vocals as well as Yannis at his best is Daniel Heiman of Lost Horizon. Speaking of whom, he will actually be the vocalist for Warrior Path, who have only one album under their belt, on which Yannis was the lead vocalist. I’m so excited. It should be out VERY soon.
Edit: While I don’t believe any of Nightwish’s vocalists to be “special” in the way Yannis and Daniel are (though they’ve all been fantastic), they, especially Floor, do have great and consistent live performances. I have almost two decades of opera under my belt (I’m 25 and started when I was six), so I like to think I know what I’m talking about with regard to vocals.
Well, it's hard for them to not sound as good live, Noora has a killer voice, no alteration or post processing needed.
Not a lot of vocalists are THAT good among metal bands, I mean, there are a few who come close, but it's rare.

IDK,i had really high hopes for this band but they seem lost in their identity,not so metal then too grungy,then back to metal then pop sounding,then sometimes cringe.I feel hey lost their chance with the old guitarist,should have built songs around his skill and keep the sound more to the melodic metal side.Not really a fan of screaming vocals.
Personally, I rather like the screaming vocals - both Noora and Nitte, the previous vocalist, are good at them. Obviously, it's what suits the song! I also love the melodic metal, but it's good that they have a bit more variety too. Maybe groups should try out a variety of styles sometimes: as artists, it must be more interesting to try out different things. They're still very good musicians too, and Noora is quite unique: she has an interesting, changeable voice and a really good presence on stage.
