Spot on. The only way he can be removed is by impeachment. The Congress investigates and passes articles of impeachment by simple majority, "impeaching" the the president. That won't happen while Republicans have a majority, unless some cross the floor. If that happens, the Senate would hold a trial, requiring a two-thirds majority to convict and remove the president from office. That's also unlikely given the current composition of the Senate.
