@@NapLabReviews Thanks so much Derek. I'm a 200lb side sleeper so I am eyeing the Wink soft. I guess I'll wait for black friday since 1500 is a bit steep, but I'll for sure use your affiliate link
@@ikigai47 My pleasure. Glad I could help. Side note - not to be the bearer of bad news...but it's very unlikely Winkbed will be any cheaper on Black Friday. Last year's Black Friday sale it was the exact same price. They don't seem to ever really do any deeper discounts than their standard $300 offer.
@@NapLabReviews Arg. Thanks for that, it saved me waiting for nothing when I need it now (bad insomnia problems and my cheap mattress is well over 10 years old so my hope is the new mattress will help). While I have your ear, do you think the soft is the best choice for me? (side sleeper, 200lbs). I want one that feels as close to a 5 star hotel as possible because whenever I sleep at a nice hotel I'm in HEAVEN with the beds, but I'm reading those tend to be medium to medium firm to accommodate all sleep types). I love soft but i don't want to disappear into the bed with no support. It's very tough to decide what's best. thanks again
@@ikigai47 If you are an exclusive side sleeper then yes, the softer version is an option. However, if you spend any significant amount of time sleeping on your back or stomach then going with the luxury firm is the better choice.
Damn, your link shows the Nectar Copper has a foam + springs option. I wish you'd have reviewed that one as well. Do you think it'd be a step up from the foam only? Arg I hate mattress shopping. Such a tough personal choice
Here are my reviews of the Nectar Hybrid line: naplab.com/mattress-reviews/nectar-hybrid-premier-copper-review/ naplab.com/mattress-reviews/nectar-hybrid-premier-review/ naplab.com/mattress-reviews/nectar-hybrid-review/ Performance between the all foam Nectar vs. hybrid Nectar mattresses was pretty similar. They are weak / strong in different areas, but overall performance is similar.

In general, I think toppers are short term solutions at best. Sometimes couples end up needing to use one when one partner has very different needs. That said, it's typically best when you can find a mattress that just meets your needs as is, and doesn't require an additional topper.
Unfortunately, we don't have a dedicated video comparison on that. What it's pretty simple...they use the same basic memory foam comfort layers on top and the same cover. The difference is the support layer. On the Nectar Premier Copper (memory foam) it has an all foam support layer (poly foam), while on the hybrid version it uses a layer of pocketed coils for support. This gives the hybrid more bounce, better edge support, better sex performance, and better cooling. In our tests, all of the hybrid Nectar mattresses performed notably better than the all foam Nectar mattresses.
@@NapLabReviews So question, if you put the Nectar Premier Copper Hybrid Mattress against the Sealy Posturepedic Plus hybrid High Point 14" Plush mattress, which one are you going with and why? im lookin for a cool performing mattress, that is leaning towards softer for my wife since she is a side sleeper.
@@DennisMangual Definitely the Nectar. It was a robust performer in our tests. In contrast, there are very few Sealy mattresses I've tested that have impressed. I haven't tested this specific Sealy, but looking at the material specs it's not one that I think would be better than Nectar.
Curious why you didn't compare hybrid against hybrid and foam against foam? Doesn't seem like a fair comparison using 2 different constructions against each other.
We were more focused on comparing the most popular models from DreamCloud and Nectar. So the DreamCloud hybrid vs. the Nectar all foam was the best comparison, in our view. Notably, DreamCloud doesn't offer an all foam version. With respect to Nectar, the Nectar hybrid line is still relatively new and significantly less popular variant compared to the all foam Nectar.
