Full disclosure: we have not begun this yet, but we will in a few weeks (we are currently finishing the preschool bundle). I did however use it a couple years ago with another child and absolutely loved it! At that time I didn't purchase the whole bundle, I had the teacher's guide, and the storyboard pack and purchased all the wonder tales as well as some of the core books. All the book recommendations that we used were fantastic! This time around we will be doing it all, including the art and music stuff. But my kids are now used to the flashcards because we have been doing the preschool bundle and I love having those! This is something that I recommend to my friends though because we have loved everything we have done thus far. Rachel from "seven in all" does a lot of flip throughs and reviews with them as well if you want another opinion as well.

I say it depends how much of it you plan to use. If you plan to use a majority of it, I would just buy the printed version! But I also laminated it when I printed it myself too…so maybe that’s why I feel that way 🤪. But if you just want to use the guide without the cards, and add in a few things, the pdf version is so nice for that!
Yes! For the cards and storyboard pack they suggest using around 90lb cardstock. And they give suggestions for the other things as well. Mostly cardstock and laminating though.

What is your preference either printing them off yourself or ordering the printed version?
I say it depends how much of it you plan to use. If you plan to use a majority of it, I would just buy the printed version!
