This is the second in a series of videos where I look back at all the footage I've shot showing the construction of HS2 in the area around Aylesbury. The changes have been immense since 2021.

These drone perspective video recordings are a massive good service to the public. Have the HS2 management done their own drone surveys? And made them public? [It seems to me common sense given the enormity of the project, longevity of the completed works, and, not to mention, the expense.] Thank you Karl !!
Thanks. I actually know someone who flies a drone for HS2 and the videos are made into short clips related to a small part of the route. You're right, they should release more comprehensive videos so we all know what's going on at any place and time. This is partly why I do this because I don't know what's happening. The only way is to see for myself.

Great vid superb. Is it possible you could take some vids a bit further up towards Calvert?
Thanks. I have a plan in mind but I have to rely on trains and cycling so it's a bit of a journey for me. I'll wait until the weather is more settled before I look at Calvert.

Totally agree !! These videos are a huge gift to the future historians. Honestly I could enjoy extented versions.
Thanks again. It's an interesting exercise for me too as I don't really notice a lot of change from month to month but when looking back further the changes are more apparent.

@@CRIMSONANT1 Oh god not you again with your copy and paste rubbish again, how can HS2 be an enviromental disaster of epic proportions and biggest infrastructure mistake in half a century, so what about all the Motorways they built which creat a bigger scar in the landscape than a 2 track Railway, James Monks either you have a boring life or where you live is boring.
