Nice video bro. I've been using tiling window managers for 3+ years, and can't imagine going back to stacking wms after realising all the advantages you pointed out in the video.

Glad you liked! I meant this to be a small introduction to those that are thinking of using Tiling Window Managers, but aren't sure of what they are or why use them, so if you have a friend like that feel free to refer him to this video!

Tiling and a good set of keybindings are two great features which eventually become more natural and easy to use than standard stacking. Im still a DE user for now though until I find the time to move everything to hyprland.

I've seen some hyprland configs and they look EXTREMELY cool! I know that it can be a hassle to get started, but it's well worth it in the end. I suggest grabbing a done config and going from there! I copied the EndeavourOS config (for i3) and went from there, now I have one that I am happy with! I wish you the best of luck with your future system.

A viewer pointer out that other distros/DE's have workspaces also, and he is correct! I forgot to mention that the two nicest features of workspaces in tiling window managers is that they tend to be independent from screens (so you can change what is in one screen while keeping what is in the second one) and that they are extremely responsive! I've had problems with workspaces lagging a bit or not behaving nicely with full-screen apps in other distros/DE's, but that doesn't happen with tiling window managers!
