I remember listening to Varsity FanClub then these boys came to my middles school and cried cuz I recognized Jayk and Drew and it’s weird to think how I’ve been friends with All of them for years now sure I haven’t talk to TC or Jayk in like 6 months but I literally talked to Drew yesterday when, I was like 11 I would be dying just getting a “hi” from them now Im 17 & it’s a lot different but I’m still grateful to have them in my life
Thinking about Lance Bass & his podcast & this would be the perfect group because I want to know how they got screwed over. No album, just singles & then a 5 piece band down to a quartet. Only performances at schools & then the reorg with new music & then poof gone.
they quietly disbanded because devin fox the youngest member had allegations against the rest of the group. i love the idea of them being invited on a podcast but since all that happened it may be too awkward. on the podcast they will be asked about their history and time in the group, and they can't really skim over the controversy since it is quite literally how their journey ended. i don't know how you would approach talking with the group, even just the 4 of them because all that stuff will always linger in the background
