Tara, be careful leaving the cold brew bag in the jar because it can overstep and start to get bitter! Cold brew shouldn’t steep longer than 15 hours! 💕💕
Also, topically you have to dilute the cold brew. So if you serve a cup of cold brew you need to add a cup of water or milk. Then you add your creamer to your liking.
hello, qualified coffee person here. Was lucky enough to work for a great roastery, and coffee science is awesome. It most definitely should steep longer than 15 hours, at least 24. Not usually more than 48, and it is pretty concentrated/should always be diluted. The beauty of cold brew is when you don’t apply heat to your beans you shouldn’t be getting any bitterness. It’s a similar reason why you bloom a pour over or Chemex, to ease the shock of heat that causes bitterness.

i really love the mood board for the living room and the office. i think a more structured, business-looking chair might be better for the office. especially with the more dark rug and all. so excited to see how it turns out, your decor is always the best.

DRYER: towels, polyester, nylon, acrylic (synthetics). I usually hang everything else. Clothes will last longer & wrinkle less. Shake out before hanging.
Yes, and if you’re not sure, the tag inside the clothes usually says!

Tara, I love a good drying rack and put all of my clothes on it when I can! I have clothes that have lasted for 5+ years because of it. My family’s rule of thumb has always been underwear, bras, bathing suits, jeans, dress pants, skirts, nice shirts go on the drying rack and pjs, socks, t shirts, towels, sweatpants go in the dryer. Ofcourse if you really love a certain item always hang it up!

i definitely relate hard to doing activities based on what the weather is lol I’ll literally make list for seasons and when i have time to do something w my boyfriend or best friends we’ll check off either a place or an activity we wanted to do and that way it’s always exciting
Hi! For stuff that goes in the dryer or hang: if you put the dryer on a lower heat setting, nothing should shrink but leggings that like to pill can be hung!

Tara!!! I think you should find a rug that has slight earth tones but has darker hues, of greys and blacks throughout it for the office because the very dark rug might throw off the whole room a little bit, (credentials: bachelors in design lol)

If you need something skinny as a console table vignette try the Zara Home Narrow Recycled Wood Bench. Comes in a pretty natural wood or black! Maybe some art above it or a leaning mirror behind. I have one in my narrow hallway with two large frames above it and I love the look!

I noticed you were trying to get all the curry sauce out of the bottle while cooking. I just thought I'd throw out a tip to add a little water, put the cap back on, and shake it. You can get all the sauce out that way. 🤗😁

Red wine vinegar honey water adobo salt in a blender and slowly pour rice bran oil in it makes the vinaigrette from chipotle! I work there lol
Someone might have already commented this so my bad if I’m repeating, but most clothes have care tags, either on the back of the main tag or somewhere on the inside side seam. It’ll tell you the recommended way to wash and dry the piece!

For drying, my method is delicates dry on air dry for one cycle to get the bulk of the water out, then hang dry. All other laundry is washed and dried normal.
I'm surprised to hear you don't hang dry a lot of your clothes because they look like SUCH good quality that I would be terrified to put them in the dryer. Good to know for me too since I love your clothes! 😂

In your laundry just a quick reminder. DON'T put anything in the dryer that has spandex like all your sets. The heat breaks down the elasticity. Hang them by the waist bands or lay dry. I also don't dry cotton garments unless they need to shrink.
Is it certain brands? I’ve used fabletics for years and have always washed it out and never had a trouble with losing the elasticity.
@@17steph25 Fabletics may have worked to make their garments stronger but still it's not a good idea to dry in a hot dryer anything that's elastic.

Your coldbrew was bad and intense because you made a concentrate and then added cream to it. You need to add water first. You should brew in a separate container you can retrieve the bag from because oversteeping causes the coffee to taste bitter- sometimes even burnt weirdly.
I steep 12-14 hours and leave on the counter. That's what they do at coffee stands.
Have you ever considered getting a virtual assist or a regular assistant. Just to help with tasks like selling your stuff online. Maybe it can be part of upcoming boss moves. Your are killing it Queen. ❤️

I would try adding some vanilla syrup to the cold brew as well. Like to the glass as you make it not to the pitcher! And maybe try to make your brown sugar creamer into a cold foam???? I think it would be so good!
I know what to hang up and what to not put/ what to put in the dryer! You should always hang dry your delicates such as laces and silk etc. You can put pretty much anything cotton/polyester in the dryer. These items may shrink up to 20% but only the first time they are dried. The won’t continue to shrink. It all depends on the fibre content of the garment!

Underwear, towels, bedding and sportswear + everything polyester can go in the dryer.. ANYTHING else should be washed 30/40 degrees and should be hanged to dry

If you have not tried this yet you should try adding bay leaf to your rice while it cooks, then remove the leaf and mix in cilantro. Takes the rice to chipotle level!

Definitely pour the cold brew into a different jar. You can brew over a day but after 3 it will be extremely bitter and start to go bad. The bag can also deteriorate on the bottom and leak grounds into the liquid.....just gross 😝
Hey Tara I have a great breakfast idea for you! I cut a piece of Rudolphs Bavarian MultiGrain Sourdough Bread in half (they are big slices) and toast, then cook the Farm Boy Mediterranean Egg Rounds and set aside. After the toast is ready I spread hummus on both slices, cut one of the egg bites in half and put each half on top of the toast and mash the egg down. I then add alfalfa sprouts (for crunch) on top the the egg. And because I am a saucy girl I also add a bit of PC brand chipotle mayo on top of the sprouts, you can also use nothing or a different condiment. It is delicious the hummus and the egg bit is phenomenal together! The sourdough bread is my favourite but you can use any other type of bread that toasts nice and crispy. If you try it let me know!!

When you go to TJs again, get the instant cold brew in a jar. Looks like instant coffee but it says cold brew. It’s the best. And you can control how much coffee flavor you want.

I make my cold brew with a container I got on Amazon and I just put 10 tbsps (i think) of regular ground coffee in and then it steeps for 24 hours and it’s delish! You can do any ground coffee 😊
For next summer I feel like you should get some type of hammock for the backyard ☺️ hands down my fave place to read in the summer time!

It’s cold in the fall , there is no way you can where short stuff it’s usually between 55F and 68F but 68 is really pushing it that doesn’t happen often..
