Seriously. Without escaping, without supressing - you can call death nothing more than opening a door. No bigger experience, no bigger deal. Thats it. What's behind the door? Doesn't matter. Nothing. Death - is - nothing. Nothing.
So what time is worth spending being ready to open this door? No time at all. Because that door will open itself. So once again. Just forget about everything and life will treat you all right.
One of Gangajis best videos especially the part at about 8.35 when she invites the audience to die,a very powerful shocking thing to say,if you don't know what she is referring to..... the ego,or rather the attachment to it,because the ego is an idea of self,a conditioned self. We've been fooled all our lives. Its all we think we are up until we start the search,to be told we don't exist as a me is hard to take for the ego. Once you realise you are not the ego, then there's only one thing left, that which watches the mind/ego/body is who we are,and that cannot be described, but it can be known.....you have just died, congratulations, but beware, the ego is lurking in the background to resurrect itself as a me.
Gangaji at her magnificent best. I've no idea who it was she was talking about that had just died but I was weeping buckets from about thirty seconds into the video.
@xwaystranger I get what she is saying (mystical experience type of thing) but I also appreciate your honesty. You are right, she did not die and return, so how can she speak about death? Perhaps she should have qualified her talk on that point. But I think she is talking about how she understands death (the death of others) now that she has had this experience of God, enlightenment, etc. So at the end of the day, she is talking about her experience as a living person of the meaning of death.
Interesting...good voice quality! Disappointing because even in death it is being explained that there is treasure. Death is inevitable so it is not something you need to invite. How can you die if you haven't lived. Life exists in this moment and is unpredictable so you need to control it, death is a predictable eventuality. In living wholly one can loose the fear of dying. You loose nothing in life or in death! To just be....is the phenomenon to be understood. Everything is complimentary.
"spiritual" is what exactly? It is an abstract idea describing, for many humans, an inner process of growth or maturation. You can use all sorts of language to describe this maturing but the language really doesn't matter. Is it the same to tell a story of a scenic wonder like the Grand Canyon or to experience the Grand Canyon on the edge of its cliffs? I could tell you stories and show you pictures but they would really mean nothing to you unless you stood there on the brink yourself
@xwaystranger Do you have a reference to where Gangaji places herself as a "guru"? "Guru" has many cultural definitions. It seems "guru" has a limited definition to you. I once read that "guru" meant "one who points to the light"-- For most of us, "the light" is a symbolic word for "the truth". Gangaji's "Truth" is to her, the same as "Reality". Reality to all of us, should be, "what actually is, now".
This is so true. I experienced the reality of what we are in facing my mother's death. I seen for myself that what we are is the totality of being.
She is so physically beautiful and spiritually beautiful. Wow.
She is amazing
True implementation of this kind of approach to death is the ultimate liberation.

Thank you again for sharing Gangaji w us.
Thank you. Namaste
Thanks for this vid. She's very peaceful with herself.

I love Gangaji. She is the Satguru.
Deeply unsettling.
if i bring up fear of death with my mum she always says 'thats miserable! dont think about it!'.
death itself dies
I believe she was speaking of a Guru.

Spiritual path is the path of loss ❤💚🙏
It’s not the full picture though. It’s all a paradox. Surely you could equally say the spiritual journey is one of gain
So. How is this done? Contemplate death?

Love listening
you are very welcome.

THE ONLY THING THAT DIES IS THE EGO WHICH IT NEVER REALY EXISTED, ALL THE ATOMS OF THE BODY KEEP ON FORMING NEW STRUCTURES.

After so many beautiful comments... a mind attack! ... with all its redundant time bounded misery and doubts... 🙏🎈
So if life is all about losing then there is no point to life.
Why the need to fight?....whats the point.
LMAO There is no DEATH
4 ppl died
Ummm....what?
: )
