My favorites were about the wedding, Kronii becoming the most wanted person in the server, almost anything with Biboo, Subaru & Kanade, Calli arresting Subaru, Polka's journalism, Holostaff interactions, anything with the medical staff, the battles between the police & gang, and grandma Gigi.
I watched Ina, Mumei, Cici, & Kronii's perspectives and countless clips. I just learned Polka was responsible for the explosion. There is just way too much content. Insane this was only 7 days. Felt like a full season of a show. Maybe two, lol.

You can add the romantic stories of Ina & Hajime in the medic team and Iofi (medic) with Sora (civilian). There are also good stories of the Indonesian sisters Moona and Reine and how they started doing a restaurant and finished selling a cover up service for the gangs. The ice cream brothers (Raora and Ceci) together with their grandma (Gigi) have some good things too
HoloGTA was a massive event, and was probably the online gaming event where Hololive vtubers were the most numerous, with 52 of them playing, including Suisei and Miko. The various clips were very funny, I just regret that the compilation didn't add a little more context to some of them. Your return is a breath of fresh air. Glad you're back! Too much happened in GTA to give context for everything because they played for a week straight for 8+ hours a day. Probably about 80% of members joined the server. One of the best Mumei moments was Towa trying to teach her how to read the kanji for hentai wrong because she didn't want her to learn the word
I barely saw a fraction of the chaos going on in the GTA arc as I really didn't have time to watch any vods. I just saw some clips. For me one of the funnist thing was JP's interaction with Fuwamoco. Went from "aw bau bau is so cute" to "don't bau bau me".
JShay has a 2 hour video of the baker family (Korone, Mio, Kanata) that gives more context, and it's probably the best part of HoloGTA, but there's so many other good moments from everyone that are just as hilarious.
5:40: The helicopter thing is basically the running gag of chat trolling holomems in GTA. Holomem is in a helicopter or plane and asks what button to press? The answer from chat is always "F". (Disembark.) They keep falling for it.
This clip is pretty random and sometimes out of context. VtuberBits (one of the best clipper out there) also have random holoGTA compilation but the context is intact since he doesn't just skip all over the place.
That clip with Nerissa driving and crashing on the pier was from near the end of the last day. She and Reine were driving in an appropriated car, and Nerissa thought crashing it and sending them both flying into the ocean would be a good finale for her story. But she didn't tell Reine about her plan, so Reine had her seatbelt on and got trapped in the car (she couldn't open her door because how the car landed after the crash), so Nerissa had to swim back to let her out

There were multiple storylines going on. There were three factions: the police, the criminals and the merchants/mechanics. They really had everybody involved somehow. And yes this compilation barely scratched the surface.
The most important takeaway from HoloGTA: SEATBELTS!! So many hilarious clips came from HoloGTA and there's no way a 20 min compilation can do it any justice. Maybe check out some of the Holomems clip reaction streams to help with context. HoloGTA was a heavily modified server that needed daily maintenance with this bunch breaking things regularly. They had like a week of training prior to make sure everyone knew how to play with all the mods. But so many gems came out of it. My favorite is all the times Fubuki had to scream "FUWAMOCOOOOO!!"
Multiple JP members and a few others did similar clip reaction streams after it had finished to catch up with what the others did. Miko did two 4+ hour long streams and did not finish all the clips, which just shows how much content there was. That compilation was moreso a compilation of shorts than normal clips tbh.
The sad part about these compilations is they show all the punch lines but none of the set up. Sure, Pekora getting run over is funny, but seeing the struggle up to that is hilarious. This really only serves people who know all the context already.
This was a no context compilation, basically everyone had a role and a story in this event! I recommend any compilation cantered around Fuwamoco or the Police, esp. Subaru! The Koromio bakery storyline was pretty central to the server as the wedding you saw was kind of like a culmination event to close the server!
yeah its tough if you don't have context for the general rp themes that were running through this event, korone and mio were husband and wife running a bakery with their daughter kanata, Fubuki was the hospital director/gambling addict who spent most of their time trying to seduce mio and dealing with fuwamoco being chaotic hospital staff, and subaru was losing her mind trying to manage her police force on the server 😆
Aw you really missed it dude EVERYONE was in the server and there was so much going on but almost all of it was so freaking funny. It definitely was one of the best hololive arcs in years.
You actually have to watch a ton of clips to understand context. There are several large arches, each of which had a lot going on, many of which were intertwined with each other And there were a lot of little funny situations This is literally the best arc of entire Hololive this year and possibly the best of all time
Towa worked really hard as the gang leader with the staff to make things happen that technically shouldn't have like getting the last raid to function properly because the server was so small and they had like 1 gang in the whole server that's smaller than a normal gang in a normal rp server that would have multiple gangs right so she put in alot of work in game and behind the scenes to make sure her gang had fun and they surprised her with a big wall full of love for her
Most of these clips have like an hour plus of context cut out of it. You could legit speend days watching specific interactions that happened. The gta server eas actually so insane.
That was lapluses 3rd proposal and it was right at the end of the server when everyone was unkillable and right infront of the whole gang including towas in game wife and second in command Aki Rosenthal
8:15 I'm still disappointed that they cut the best part from this sequence: Chief of Police Subaru was the last to arrive. She was basically the incarnation of that meme where the guy comes back into the room with pizzas, and finds everything is on fire and everyone injured and/or panicking. It was hysterical the first time I saw all perspectives cut together. With every point of view you unravel even more hilarious details - like whose car exploded in what order and what exactly injured which member, as well as their respective reactions. All crowed by the payoff of Subaru standing at the gate, entirely speechless.
9:43 it's cause the compilation concentrated on that, and a lot of what I call the 'loud funny' moments happened around them. Depending on how you go about this you could have multiple hours of clip watching streams and they could all be unique depending on who you watch (the Ina clips are very different from the Subaru clips which are different from the Reine clips, but all are worth watching if you want to imo). I think you'll find a lot of requests to watch a lot of different things; it was a big event with a lot of people doing very different things for a long time.

Yeah, the context is not included in these clips. If you include context, it'd be hours. There was so much going on in this server. Every member has their own POV and it was hella entertaining to watch. Like, CC, GG and Raora were just kind of in their own world most of the time but their streams were still funny as heck. I think a good sample would be a video about Kronii's arc about being chased by the police.

The irony in the whole event is that there were very few translated clips form the gangs doing the heists and robbing, because they were so damn well organised due to Towa-sama and Aki that there were so very little chaos compared to the police and medical groups, so there are a few good ones, but in general, since they were more chill and things went well for them more often than not, you don't see much of that side.
This is quite out of context (and is missing a lot of stuff, for example the EN and ID povs are comparable underrepresented imo). Honestly, you could probably be watching HoloGTA clips for weeks without running out of content or without too much repetition.
There's literally literally multiple 6-10 hour streams every day I think like the whole mio cheating arch and red wedding is like an hour or better over just about 6 days of the game you can watch hours of just gang vs cop raid missions you can watch the baking bad arch which semi ties into mio cheating you could watch the garage arch and okayus love life with police chef Subaru im sure there's like an hour or 2 of just marines adult club funny moments
