I can almost guess who the instructor is, and where it is. Have done all my training and diving in the Philippines and am currently a Master Diver, so basically still a novice in my book. In my rescue diver class there were 3 of us. A local girl and a European guy. The guy was nice, but a little rough skill wise, at the time. In our surprise response drill, we assigned him to shore duties. The girls husband bought the resort, and the former student is now an instructor there. I loved the resort, but the instructors I used all refuse to teach there now. Not sure of the specifics, but I know PADI had to get involved. I will continue to dive, and have my son continue his training at another resort, with the same instructors I used. Things are cheaper in the Philippines, no doubt, but this sounds like the direction that this resort was going with this instructor! Shame because the girl who now owns it was really a great person, and I liked her husband as well.
@ problem is most business is tourists who are merely looking for the most, for the least cost. A reputation works against you locally, but until Padi pulls their name away and refuses to certify, tourists will never know, or care, until there is a tragedy that cannot be covered up. And in the Philippines, that too is surprisingly easy.
👍😎🤿🇵🇭! What that’s crazy! They are going to get new divers hurt or even worse! I truly agree with you as I even switched agencies due to seeing very questionable practices!
Well said, great stuff.
Thanks. Elevating one future mermaid at a time eh
Agreed
100% it's life support equipment buy once cry once and a good instructor is always better then a cheap class
Great vid... hey what's happening with the boat was enjoying those videos
Finished and selling!

I did 2 pool days, 2 lake dives, 2 boat dives over 3 days. I don't see how that could have been shortened
Hopefully these places get shut down
the only time i think this could be done if is a referral but there is no way it can go from start to finish. if so i wont dive with that person
I've seen it many times. Scuba factories
Now that’s 💯 true 🤘🏻
Safety first
Look for a good instructor and not for a cheap course
