Hey Fam got another tent review The North Face Kaiju 6person tent ... In my Opinion the best Family Tent of 2018 hands down.....spacious and great air flow !!!
We love ours, the fly is kinda a pain to set up alone. We had it in a flood zone and were dry. Wind was fine, cold was fine, hot was fine. I am not sure about it’s replacement because I like the rainfly being separate.
Have you had any issues with this tent? It seems to go up just like all other dome style tents I've used, so no issue there other than it being much bigger! Some have said the mesh doors don't work for keeping the tent warm, so I'm curious what your opinion is on this? I bought one to use in June up in Wawona with my family, so I expect mild temps and maybe a little rain. Any feedback you can give is very helpful, thanks for the informative video!
My honest opinion is that it will work fine for you in mild temps no problem ..... just be sure to draw the rainfly as low as you can go ... and keep one vent open for condensation .... this tent is my favorite family tent it shouldn't disappoint
@@OutdoorXP Thanks for the reply. I bought this and set it up in my cramped front yard by myself and had no issues getting this set up in about 10 minutes. Taking it down in the dark was a little harder, but not bad. I did both of these operations one-man. There were a bunch of complaints on TNF's site saying the poles were weak and bent - I am led to believe these people just genuinely didn't know how to set up a modern tent. Aside from the two fully mesh doors being a draft concern, this tent is the bomb. It's huge, has a huge covered "porch", a separate vestibule and lots of stow spots inside. I may make a couple silnylon covers for the mesh doors, but don't think it will be that big of a deal. Thanks for the review.
Good lord this family is absolutely adorable. My cheeks hurt from smiling
