I mean, its accurate. In rapidly-changing situations, a jack of all trades would be infinitely more effective than someone that hyperspecialized in one specific thing, simply because the jack of all trades could adapt to match the situation.

I think this a good match up. Could Cid Kagenou defeat the 9 Fallen Heroes from the "Hero Has Returned" series? I think this could be pretty difficult for him as these Fallen Heroes have casual city busting feats and could take on regular nuclear weapons to the point more powerful ones are needed to be used against them. And these Fallen Heroes become more powerful overtime and are not willing to hesitate on killing someone at random.

Even Spear couldn't effectively damage him. Only slightly make him bleed. Even his armor wasn't cracked by Spear hero's strongest attacks in their first clash.

If these Fallen Heroes were up against Cid's fantasy world they would kill even the strongest of the cast aside from Cid. Cid might have alot more trouble would have to be forced to go full power against them if had was fighting all of them combined who specialize in different fields of combat. Sword Hero is the worst physical threat while Return Hero is the worst knowledgeable threat.

In a way, BETA is a "joke" character, but a masterfull funny character :D I like that she is not a COMBAT MONSTER but more on the side of inteligence. Then the big chest is a great "trope" joke, her actin skills are hillarious (and really great), her jelous personality xD She is a great character that embodies "joke" and I love it....

The narrator left out the Claire/Aurora standing against the Blood Queen. If Claire had a larger manna supply Aurora would have killed the Queen.
All he cared about was his stolen money.

Cid effectively beats anyone who is relative to him in ability. So long as he can keep the battle close, canonically, he should come out on top
