Did we find HUCKLEBERRIES?

August is here, and with that comes huckleberries and fishing. Our four younger children and I drove up to the mountains to search for huckleberries. A storm rolled in while we were hiking and thankfully we hadn't hiked very far. The hike back to our rig was quick. Titus stepped up as the biggest kid and helped me loads. Thea snapped some wildflower photos. Annora helped film a little. And Hezekiah's commentary makes the whole video!
Meanwhile, Joel and Elsie hiked down to the river to fish and crawdad hunt. Joel landed a nice Rainbow Trout and they caught a few bass too. They brought home 9 large crawdads. We had a lovely dinner!
