I believe with all the cars you won you will have plenty of content material, looking forward for the streams, hope they won't be too long though. Be safe 👍🏻
@Auto Auction Rebuilds - will stay a faithful watcher, or as many as receive notices for for live streams for them - and see you safe on the other end of this. 👍 Thank you.
What a great opportunity to create some original content. Copart walkarounds are getting old anyway, with no follow up to see what they sold for its not very interesting. With the lockdown probably going on for some weeks, how about a complete restoration of a wreck, engine swap or something mechanical?
While they’re “not responsible” there should be at at least an expectation of their employees to do their job right and if the damage is intentional as this was, the company should do the right thing.
exactly. it's "as is" at then end of the auction. it's IAA responsibility to keep it in that condition until the vehicle is collected. I'd say never go back and bad mouth them at every opportunity.
Guaranteed they broke the radiator when they dropped it! I'd leave the rims and tires. Fix the least you have to to make it safe and send it down the road. Could still make some profit all cleaned up. Thanks for all the uploads. I look forward to them. You're working hard Randy!!!!
I don't know where else to post this so I hope the right people get to see it. I am 65 yrs. old and have been a mechanic, shop manager and I am an ASE certified in automotive A/C and electrical. I have also spent many years in the paint and body business. However when engines turned sideways and computers started managing all of the components on automobiles I got left behind. I went back into my small engines experiences which now are going with the same technological advances. I have been a faithful follower of AAR for over a year now and have followed Wierd Beard since he started. I have to say thanks to these two guys for giving me the confidence to troubleshoot and maintain my own vehicles again. Randy showed me that the computer was a helpful tool in diagnostics rather than something to fear. I have now purchased a Launch Scan tool and i think I can keep my 2013 F150 and my 2014 Honda CRV going a long time myself. Wierd Beard and his hands on mechanic videos have shown me that although a little tighter, with some common sense and the experience I have, I can still do repairs to my own vehicles beyond brakes which I thought was all I could do. Thanks guys, you two are one hell of a youtube team!7
How much business has IAA lost now. Should've done the right thing either give you your money back or buy parts to fix it. I know I won't look there for a car.
The old Mercedes ML, we love these cars in Europe. They are reliable, affordable and powerful machines in use. Despite the limited maintenance, they continue to drive fantastic. I have the new ML, but I'm missing the old one.
Matthew West What would you have if all your male freinds and they friends got along and liked each other, huh...??...A "gay convention" thats what...I'm purty sure you have "freinds " that some of your other freinds dont like...Ev'ry body does....Soo, just chillax, bud !!!
I thought I said that pretty chill. And I didn’t call no names. So there for you to assume who I’m talking about means that you totally agree with me. Thanks ! 😊
I mean come on for someone that is just straight up using Randy for content when he’s in town. Just holding his camera at the ground and just agreeing with randy on everything. I kinda find that annoying. And again not calling anyone out. So there for if you can figure it out on your own that just totally means you agree with me😄
I recently sold a gold ml350 for 700, purchased from Copart Houston just slapped a rear bumper and rear upper control arm and sold it for 2500 :)) good luck with this one!!
I had a similar experience Buying an awd Mini Cooper. When copart hauled it to my trailer they bent the rear control arms. Stuff happens moving cars around with forklifts. It sucked and cost me extra money to repair but it’s part of the game. The guys on the forklifts are working hard moving as fast as they can. Sometimes things get damaged.
I had a similar experience at Copart on a truck I bought. I didn’t look at it in person because it was 3 hours away, but felt confident bidding based on the pictures. When I went to pick it up there was fresh damage to the right bedside like they had ran into it with something, they had also used it like a dumpster, the bed had been filled with trash and parts off of other cars after the photos were taken, it was also covered with unusual scratches on every panel that I can’t say were already there or not for certain, but I learned from it.
What amazes me is half the subs cut down TK but as soon as he will drop a Amazon code, he is their best friend. Sorry just had to say it. I have nothing negative to say about TK. To bad they dropped the Mercedes ML320 and will not make good on the damages.
IAA is notorious for that. I delivered a burnt up Mercedes GL450 Thursday to a customer. Customer bought it because the rear half was still good. Rear had some damage but turns out it wasnt like that when the customer bought it. Loader damaged it trying to get it out of its spot.
Hello Randy.Do not put too much money on the 2001 Mercedes ML 350.Hope you can make some profit. And, where is your 2019 C7 Corvette?.Please keep safe.Greeting from Venezuela!!!!!
Not a fan of IAAI because they basically sell parts cars and repo'd auto loan junk. But come on you can see the bumper was broken in half and the grill hanging out in the auction picture. The huge crack in the rebar didn't happen from the loader dropping it either and considering the radiator was already empty I'm sure it was already cracked. Little common sense here people.
sorry about the benz. Definitely not fair. Keep up the good work. If no more auctions consider buying off Craigslist. Liked the Honda the best of all the recent stuff. Keep on buying panther cars. They should be kept on the road as long as possible. Stay safe, and keep healthy. We'll be through the crisis soon enough.
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds i was wrong. thought the noise was steam. turned up the volume and heard the engine. well, i certainly have egg on my face, don't I?
Hey Randy, go to walmart and buy a bottle of lucas power steering fix. Empty the power steering reservoir and replace with the lucas stuff. I did it in my 04 Deville and it is like brand new!
aint gonna lie but more than sure i saw that in the picture the bumper was already cracked top to bottom right in the middle you can def see it naked eye at 1:34 in the video that it was cracked so yeah the loader was right about the bumper but well he did a less than nice job at moving the vehicle and just dropped it down harder on the ground
dragos2009 yeah, if you go on his Instagram he has pics of it from the IAA websites and the you can tell the bumper and hood and grille was damaged, so most likely the rad was damaged too from that and not the loader, the loader driver just probably knocked it off when he was moving it
Randy i think it was a great buy,Fix its problems, clean her up and would think you could make a tidy profit. This type of car would appeal to the ladies market for sure.
ML ride quality will vary greatly depending on the tires. Stock, they came with either Michelin, Dunlop or Continental. The Michelins gave the best ride while Dunlops rode like an ox cart. Many dealer customers would have the Dunlops switched out to Michelins before taking delivery-it was that noticeable.
Randy I Had an 03 Mercedes C320 Sedan that I got for Literally $200 that had a bad CPS and was in a wreck, I fixed the CPS and it Ran Again and pretty much everything worked! I GLUED the radiator tab back on the bottom of the radiator with black silicone and drove it for 5000 miles while I lived in it during summer in California, I eventually got a radiator and she lasted me a total of 20,000 miles Until the Rear mail seal went bad on me.. my point is Mercedes are great cars and pretty reliable, if my Ex wouldn’t have Over filled the engine oil it would probably still be driving today lol it had the electronic oil level sensor and she thought she’d add extra Oil because she thought it sounded “Bad” 🤦♂️
That poor truck needs a good home. When I was shopping for my current car, I was strongly rooting for a 2001 ML430 until a '97 LS400 popped up for sale at just 2.1k and that was obviously the more sensible choice. I love my LS400, don't get me wrong, but I also like these W163s a lot for some reason.
I buy a lot of cars from iaa and I’ve had this happen a few times with more damage than this And they refunded me my money they took the car back Good videos randy I’ve been scoring on these timed auction
Bought a SUV at copart, loader broke a 300 headlight, showed them pics of it not broken before I bought it. They gave me my money back since they wouldn't cover the damage.
I'm surprised you don't have a kit to carry when you pick up a car - gas can, like two gallons of mixed coolant, brake fluid, fuel line hose and clamps, stuff like that. I've carried it for years just in my driver and it's saved my ass a couple of times.
That mercedes ml320 looks good just needs some love like a new radiator and bumper. As for the rims they help give the car an aggressive look. Great purchase overall Randy
My daughter-in-law had one of these Mercedes. It turned into a money-pit. Everytime something would get fixed something else would break. She got rid of it.
That's some bs too say the least man if that would have happened to me unfortunately theres not much to be done but I would have flipped out tbh hope your luck is better next time man thanks for the heads up on bs like this
Is the gas gauge accurate? 12 gallons and it's only 1/4 tank? I can't imagine it has much more than a 20 gallon tank. Saw a mint 2001 ML500 sell for $1500. Doubt there's enough profit to make worth while, unfortunately.
Because there are no more Copart walk arounds, videos will be reduced to 3-4x per week and I'll try to livestream 1-2x per week.
Sorry. This illness is really sucks.

Matthew West bro quit Hatin
Matthew West I agree!!

I like that Austin chap; seems like a good fellow.
I once drove a w220 from nyc to Atlanta with absolutely no fan !! No overheating period

Grill and bumper was damaged in the picture.

Front passenger strut looks busted also
That sucks! I bought a van from IAA , sight unseen turned out to bring me $3000 in return!

Like this little ml320. Looking forward to seeing updates on it.
ALWAYS have the engine RUNNING when adding fluid to a hot engine!
Ummm it was running.... !!!!!!!!
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds i was wrong. thought the noise was steam. turned up the volume and heard the engine. well, i certainly have egg on my face, don't I?
When I had a busted radiator I just put the cap on about half way so it didn't continue to build so much pressure
Got one same year mine is green has been a awesome Truck never any issues with it what so ever do regular maintenance they will last a long time
Copart never give a crap terrible customer service
1.99 for premium gas ... Meanwhile in CA it’s damn there 4$ a gallon ....
The little mercedes SUV is cute,,, I hope you can make it road worthy,, :-)
I know it’s the occupation you’ve chosen but Thanks for posting content. You’re helping many of us occupy our minds with positivity.
If you own it the minute you buy it that forklift driver owes you for damages to your vehicle.
I don't know how they build cars today but up untill 99 when I retired, you never pour cold water in a hot motor running or not
Hey Randy, go to walmart and buy a bottle of lucas power steering fix. Empty the power steering reservoir and replace with the lucas stuff. I did it in my 04 Deville and it is like brand new!
Ml is great in open road, they can never over heat as long as you are crusing down the highway
Bring her back to life Randy. Love to see the rebuilt.. stay safe
aint gonna lie but more than sure i saw that in the picture the bumper was already cracked top to bottom right in the middle you can def see it naked eye at 1:34 in the video that it was cracked so yeah the loader was right about the bumper but well he did a less than nice job at moving the vehicle and just dropped it down harder on the ground

Can’t believe it’s 90+ there today. It’s -18*f here today ! Plus a foot of snow !!!!
I think you should call Monkey Wrench Mike to come help you out with this one!
Yes, and tell him to bring his ML to use as a parts truck.
Car rebuilds again yay keep up the great content
Stay safe out there Randy!! Keep up the great work!
Good vids man truly motivational 👍🏻 showing love and respect all the way from Philadelphia
Looks like the front suspension is messed up. Maybe someone cut the springs? Would answer why it rides rough...
Had a 1999 ML320 and that thing just went along traded it in and it had 267000km and with the new owner it’s still going way over 280000km
That's $450 , more than I am willing to pay for a Mercedes
Piss poor service at AA Auction. Nice lookin little Benz. When you are done with it, she will look great. Have a great day and stay cool.
Can you make videos about moving to your new house
Randy i think it was a great buy,Fix its problems, clean her up and would think you could make a tidy profit. This type of car would appeal to the ladies market for sure.
Coolest ML I’ve seen on this generation, besides the damages.
Love the original ML, wonderful and tuff suvs. I can’t believe they did that to it!
while at pickapart, looks like you need a washer fluid cap too

If you can get the parts for this car it will make great content ,one of the good things I noticed is the head liner isn't falling to pieces !!
I picked up a truck from OKC Copart last Friday, Would we be able to meet you if we win another one down that way?
The job of a loader move cars around the yard in an air conditioned tractor and if you mess up someone else's property there are no consequences.
Hope all is well Randy. As always, great video my man
Great work randy keep up the great. Work you do so well
Wow the gas is cheap out here in oregon 2.78 a gallon for regular
More and More cars! Good job randy! Much love from florida!
The black color match wax they have at walmart works wonders on a black car. it will make it look good again.
I don't understand why you don't take your towing dolly with you!
Ummmm because there's no content towing a car.... Did you forget the whole RUclips thing??
Hi Randy. The engine in this Benz is the most reliable and economical engine that made by mercedes benz.
Confidence is what it's all about
No stereo either

It has TOTAL sticker on the windshield, how is it clean title?
You tell me. How would I know??
I don't know ,but maybe that radiator could be plastic welded or repair with some Panel Bond

For that matter a tow dolly is fairly cheap, doesn't take up a lot of space, and would save big money on tow truck bills.
After working on many mercs, never again will I touch a Mercedes
would love to see you build this truck
I had a 2002 ML 55 AMG about 5 years ago, I love the first gen ML there good cars if you take of them
Gonna be great content in the channel. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
That mercedes ml320 looks good just needs some love like a new radiator and bumper. As for the rims they help give the car an aggressive look. Great purchase overall Randy
Thanks for the content Randy.
Thanks for the content bro glad to have something to watch not related to “C0
What I hate the most is when they carelessly shove body parts in the back seat, damaging the interior.
You should put OE rim and tire size
I'd bet those wheels and tires help sell it. I wouldn't want them but someone will love it.
My daughter-in-law had one of these Mercedes. It turned into a money-pit. Everytime something would get fixed something else would break. She got rid of it.
Randy/Austin 10 vs Randy/TK 0
Did the hot water from the broken radiator damage the paint on the hood there or is that just steam?
how do i find a place like that in washington state?
Hahaha!, it's called "Google", bro. Google it.
Washington has a good amount of auction yards
Tip the loader duhh
That's some bs too say the least man if that would have happened to me unfortunately theres not much to be done but I would have flipped out tbh hope your luck is better next time man thanks for the heads up on bs like this
Randy hi! you know that the radiator bracket might have been broken during the impact that the vehicle suffered throught the delivery.
A+ Randy! Get the OEM Mercedes rims!
What happened to your trailer
Can’t wait to see how this turns out!
I'd fix the radiator, ac if cheap enough. Power steering if it's cheap enough and get a bumper I'd bend the hood back or leave it alone
Is the gas gauge accurate? 12 gallons and it's only 1/4 tank? I can't imagine it has much more than a 20 gallon tank. Saw a mint 2001 ML500 sell for $1500. Doubt there's enough profit to make worth while, unfortunately.
Hi Randy... tell us something... when the Copart will allow you to visit the cars again? Big shout out man.
It might be a while due to the pandemic
Fix her up. It will sell. Radiator, bumper, recharge air. Maybe fix power steering leak, or add stop leak. Glue the taillights in, send it.
you're the best Randy keep going man
next time you g give the driver a tip you then get them brought out first and carefully with no ex damage its worth it in the end
Love the ml320!!!! Great buy.. can’t wait to see the videos
Chad Carter those ml 320 are solid
